We stayed here for one night on our way home to WI from TX. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the bed was fantastic! However, the bathroom needed updates, and the stairways were dismal. The locked access parking lot made us feel more comfortable with leaving a car dull of our belongings unattended, and the security guards are this place get a 5/5 star review. Those guy's were great! The locked access parking lot does fill up before the hotel does though, so if you want to park behind a locked gate, arrive earlier in the night. We slept through breakfast, unfortunately, I wish they kept it open just a little bit later.

This was my first time staying at a pet friendly hotel.  I was fully expecting to deal with less than immaculate accommodations based on some of the reviews I read but I didn't have much choice.  I was delighted that the room was clean and fresh and the bathroom was immaculate..  There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room and I felt safe when I had to take my dogs out at 3:00 am.  The staff was helpful and I will definitely stay here again.  The Mexican restaurant next door was also good and accommodated me with a takeout order placed 5 minutes before clisung.

Everything was great with the hotel until the next morning. Our room was facing the building materials site next door and unfortunately for us they start using machinery early. Shortly after 5am my wife and I both got woken up by the loud noise of the machines. We had been traveling for the past 3 days and the only thing we wanted was a good night's sleep, which we were not able to get. We didn't report it because I'm sure there's nothing the hotel staff could've done to remedy this, which is unfortunate because like I already mentioned everything was great with our stay until this. However, another other unpleasant part was the four different taxes that were charged for our stay. I did some research and found that, yes, although I'm sure they are allowed to charge County, City, and State tax for up to about 16% of the price of the room, our charges came to about 21%, which defeated the whole purpose of staying here for a good bargain. I even used a military discount and still ended up paying well over what I thought my final charge would be.

Very nice, clean and great smelling rooms. The bathroom was nice and it was a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good. Sadly, there were no scrambled eggs or porridge. But, there was a waffle machine! There was no T.V guide, which made it hard to find the channels you are interested in.

This location was suitable for a comfortable stay. I stayed two different nights within one week and the breakfast options seemed incomplete one of the mornings. The room was nice and clean. I wouldn't not stay at this location again, but I'd probably see if another La Quinta in Memphis had any availability.
