I stayed here with my family while in town attending my sister's graduation. Right as we got onto our floor we were completely overtaken by the smell of marijuana. It was so strong it made the air feel thick. The hallway smelled so potent of weed that some of us were gagging. We had two rooms on the second floor and one on the third floor smelled a little better. We reported this to the people at the desk and they knocked on our door later saying they were "pretty sure it was not pot." Okay. Sure. Rooms smelled bad, bathroom fan didn't work, all towels were small and thin with brown spots, carpet was stained on all parts of it and felt oily to the foot. The water smelled terrible. On the bright side, we saw no bugs and the beds didn't fall over when we laid on them. Sheets were clean and AC worked great.

Check in was the only part of the stay that way great. The young lady that was working was wonderful. Past that everything went downhill in a hurry. The smell of marijuana was so strong in the hallway you could get a contact high just going to the room. Then once in the room if you need anything just take it with you. One little thing of soap and nothing else in the bathroom area. Overall the room wasn't terrible but the refrigerator looked and sounded like it had been thrown from a moving vehicle . Next time I will get a place a little farther away from the airport and do more investigating before I book. And please don't believe the stock photos they have on the site the actual room is much different.

I guess the saying is true, "You get what you pay for!". I stayed two nights in this hotel this past weekend (Dec. 16 - 18). After the first night, I just happened to glance up and catch something crawling up the wall out of the corner of my eye. Now, I know they say we are in the "dirty south" but being from the north (Michigan) we don't get bugs the size of pets. This (man eating) cockroach was huge. I called down to the front desk to see if I could have someone come up and remove the bug. I was told by the front staff, "we don't kill bugs. We will find you another room within the hour." Well, an hour passed and no word from the front desk. I flagged down a cleaning woman in the lobby and asked her if she had bug spray on her cart. I asked her to come to my room. She stated she didn't have any bug spray. I proceeded to show her the issue I was having. She tells me, "that's a cockroach, we have them in the south." To which I replied, "that's fine, I'm from the north we don't get bugs this big." I asked her if she could take care of it. She tells me, "I don't do bugs, but I'll get you a broom." Huh! What! Wait! I'm not on the clock and am not getting paid by this hotel. If you know you have cockroaches, why don't you keep bug spray. I go downstairs to the front desk, after packing up my belonging and piling everything in the middle of the bed (I definitely didn't want to risk taking this thing home with me) I explain to the front desk worker what was going on and tell her about my interaction with her staff. I ask them if there is another room I can move into or if they can come take care of the bug. Finally, one of the ladies comes up to my room, takes the floor towel and wastebasket out of my bathroom swats the cockroach from the curtains and then proceeds to stomp around trying to kill it. Although this hotel was not bad for the money, there is NO breakfast other than coffee (which if it runs out before breakfast is over doesn't get refilled), oatmeal packets, and I think that was all I saw. The front desk staff told me that breakfast was literally "grab and go" style, but that was pitiful. I don't know if I could in good faith recommend this hotel to anyone or stay there again. I think my experience was way too overwhelming.

I recommend this place. It's very comfortable &clean. And i especially love Karla that works at the front desk,her customer service is excellent&she's always smiling &willing to help you. And thanks for letting me use your scissors to take my hair down. Will definitely visit here again 😊😊

The service is fine and the room is good for the price. There was a little bit of a roach problem in our bathroom tho.
