Car rental in Jackson, MS.  Reservation was for a Standard size rental and compact since the only cars available at pickup were a Toyota Corolla, same size Hyundai, or 2 pickup trucks.  Really?  That was all there was to choose from and the price was the same as the quote for next size up rental.  Choose the Corolla which was fine except that cruise control did not work. 

All in all it worked out, but disappointing that there was no choice over compact or pickup.

Have rented here several times on business trips. More than once I had to wait 45 minutes for a car. This was on a Monday. They can't keep up with their reservations demand. They appeared to be understaffed. Also, The vehicle type you reserved will likely not be available. Set your car rental service expectations accordingly here.

Horrible customer service and 'no cars' despite having a reservation for several weeks in advance. Such a bad experience I will be finding a new rental company... and I am an Executive Member of National's loyalty program! Not any more.
