I came to Springfield two weeks in a row and both times the National rep asked me what car I would prefer. I was extremely pleased with my  options and enjoyed the driving on both occasions. The service at the counter was very friendly also.

Eager desk staff, but car was a bit of an issue.  It was smaller than rented (which should have been intermediate size). While that was not a big problem, having no cruise control for a long highway trip was a bit surprising.  When I reported low tire pressure warning light upon my return, they told me it was because it was cold (it was 52F and I drove an hour, so don't think that was an issue). No other problem and would rent through this National airport location again if needed.

There were absolutely no problems.  They had my reservation prepared when I arrived and it only tool 5 minutes.  I wish your Mexican operation could be like that!

When I went to check in at the SPG Springfield, MO National Car Rental booth, I was greeted very nicely by a young gentleman. He proceeded to go through the standard check-in routine but he engaged in some welcoming conversation. After a few moments he said to me. " You have been traveling a bit and probably would enjoy having a nice ride today, How would you like to drive a Mustang today? I said that would be nice." He didn't know that I had had a tough day with delays and cancellations but I sense that he fully understood the travelers' plight that sometimes ruins your day. My hats off to this young man, I just wish I had written down his name to write a thank you letter to National.

The experience would be even better if the App worked.  So many times you can scan the barcode and it picks up information however does not complete transaction with barcode for Rep to can.  I travel weekly and time is always of the essence so it would be great if the App would get me in and out
