I was very pleased with my Sixt rental car experience at the Los Angeles International Airport location. We rented a car for a week long trip to Los Angeles/San Diego in August 2017. The price was great and we got a brand new Toyota Yaris, which was a pleasure to drive and had perks like a back up camera. Pick up and drop off at the airport was a breeze. It took less than 10 minutes to get the car and about the same to drop off. I love that they have 24 hour drop off since our return flight was very early. Within a few minutes off returning the car, I received a detailed email invoice confirming the return. No fee for an additional driver. I did use my debit card and had the deposit returned quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially w/airport pick up. If you provide your flight information in advance, Sixt will text you upon arrival with instructions about where to get picked up at LAX. Overall the whole process was very simple and straightforward. We are traveling back to California soon and will be using Sixt again!

The customer service at Sixt in LA is unequaled. During the times that we’ve rented cars, each and every person was helpful, cheerful, gracious and even offered beverages while we waited. Service was prompt: as soon as it was evident that the waiting lines were more than one person long, more CS agents appeared to help expedite each person’s need. Checkout was quick and efficient. Garage agents were patient with our many questions. When a car was unavailable we were upgraded. Shuttle drivers were very helpful and cheerful. The offices were clean and aesthetically pleasing. There were phone charging stations in the garage waiting area. Our experiences were great.

Sixt baited me in with the low prices but in the end I paid the same as going to a big name company, if not more. I rented a brand new Malibu. Car was excellent. Only had 4 miles when I drove it off the lot. On the day of return I filled it up less than 1/2 a mile from the facility. Had my gas receipt in hand but was never asked for it upon return. Two days later I’m back at home and I get an invoice charging me $74 for fueling. I contacted them and they told me the car was missing 8 gallons of fuel. Sent in proof that I filled the car but was only given half credit. This is unacceptable. Sixt has lost my business. ***Update*** Upon further review Sixt has decided to waive the fueling charge. I am now pleased with the response from customer service. If you decide to rent from them or anyone please remember to keep all receipts until the final bill comes out. The Sixt experience was overall decent. It would have been great if not for the billing dispute.

This is my first time using Sixt and it was a really positive experience. I was shocked to be able to rent a standard SUV for nine days for $200, no extra fees or hidden fees. I contacted my car insurance company prior to arriving at Sixt so I knew that my current insurance would cover me. The SUV was spotless upon pick up and the process to pick up and drop off the car was super quick. I will definitely use Sixt again and recommend them in the future. I have two suggestions. Your shuttle does NOT run every 15 minutes. I understand traffic and peak travel times, but all of the other rental car companies seemed to have multiple shuttles coming and going while I was waiting for ONE Sixt shuttle. Also on our return shuttle for some reason the driver dropped us off at the arrival area, not the departure area. A couple of times I tried to contact customer service prior to my trip as I needed to change something on my reservation (which I didn’t see an option for online), and it was impossible to speak to a person, just constant machine kickback. It’s always more reassuring when I know I can speak to a human.

Good rides for the pretty good price. I have had an issue getting my e-receipt from them, as it didn't arrive after me rental. However their service desk worked just fine. I will work with them again.
