I left an item in the car upon returning the rental car. I notified Fox the same day that I returned the vehicle in hopes that someone would be able to locate and return the item for me. It was a birthday gift for my 6 year old son. As requested by the automated system, I left a message with my rental information, and contact. That system guaranteed that I would be contacted within 24 hours by a representative of Fox to help retrieve my lost present. After 5 days, I elected to call back myself to learn the status of my missing item. At this point I had no faith that I would receive the gift back; I was sure that someone had helped themselves and given my son's birthday gift to their own child. Nevertheless, I figured that I would follow through. In all honesty, I was rude short, and regrettable in my conversation with the representative who finally did return my call, now a full week after I had returned the car. That I will admit. You can imagine my surprise when she let me know that they did have the car, and that they could mail it to me as long as I paid the shipping cost. I was thrilled. That was until the item arrived in the mail, and I saw that a Fox employee had opened the box and removed the remote control for the toy car, rendering the item useless. At the end of the day, I believe that we reap what we sow, and I really don't care that someone decided that I deserved to be taught a lesson based on my contact with the rep over the phone, but to sabotage a 6 year old child's birthday gift is irreprehensible. Obviously, I don't know who was responsible for the theft, but they should feel ashamed of themselves. I work in a customer centric environment, and I understand how frustrating it can be when someone is rude and short. My position, however, is that I would not have behaved that way if Fox had followed through on its commitment, and returned my call within 24 hours as promised; it would have provided me some peace of mind that there were folks of integrity within the organization, and that I could expect to get my lost item back. Instead, my assumptions for a poorly managed and administered business were met; no, exceeded. You can feel how you want, but do your job, and move on. That's all. This isn't over.

Shuttle bus was great, rep at the counter was helpful, and the car was really nice, however we were told that we could just let them top off the tank when we brought it back at a competitive price. In fine print it says you buy a whole tank, regardless of how much you actually used. We had to rent an Expedition to because it was a big group. That's almost $100! We'll be filing a complaint. Will use another company for our yearly family vacation.

The people there were very friendly. We were there late one a Friday night and they were fairly busy. They could have used a few more employees but other than that it was a great experience for us. Definitely book in advance like we did. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Went online and found a car from this company for $8 a day. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. When I went in to get the car, the desk agent forced me to get insurance. I told him I didn't need it and he continually lied to me taking up a half hour of my time until I finally had the insurance. That bumped my total from $32 with taxes and fees to $55 including the forced insurance. The car smelled terrible and I had to buy air fresheners for it. The car had multiple stains on the seats. When I went to bring the car back, I had my wife's service dog in the car as we were heading to the airport. The guy who checked the car back in saw the dogs and immediately wrote "Dog Hair" on the receipt even though I put a towel down and made sure there was no hair in the car. He directed me to the desk where I showed the lady the receipt and explained that there was no hair in there and that this was a service dog. She told me I have to go to the manager and have him deal with it. He Charged me $70 and told me I had to call the GM of the company to get my problem solved even after I showed him my paperwork for the dog. I have now called the GM, Michael, 7 times and have left 6 messages. He has not answered or returned a call. I called Customer service and waited for 15 minutes only to have the number hang up on me. I have called their Human Resources and it went to voicemail saying the office was closed AT 3PM ON A WEDNESDAY. I called their billing department and no one answered. This company is terrible. It shouldn't be considered a company... it should be considered some sort of online scam. My total bill all said and done for 2 days of a smelly dirty high mileage car.... $144..... Please please please save yourself money, time, stress and anger and go to MCar across the street. I literally had a car picked out and I was about to pay when I decided to roll the dice to save 20 bucks... needless to say, I lost that bet. Instead of saving 20 bucks, I lost about $92 in total FOR A 2 DAY RENTAL. I saw all the terrible reviews but I had yet to have a bad rental experience from any company, cheap or expensive... I have now had the worst experience I have EVER HAD WITH ANY COMPANY. THE WORST WORST WORST thing you can do to yourself is rent from this company.

Horrible Company, Horrible Rental. Some dips about Fox: 1. Fake Online Price Listing. Don't get fooled by their online price listings, everything looks cheap at Fox because it is exactly fake. Nothing is real until it comes to your car pick-up. I booked a car from fox for 2 weeks at $600, which turned into $1600 upon car pick-up. They are hiding A BLOODY $1000 fee all this time. 2. Compulsory Car Insurance. They force you to buy their insurance pack or you can't pick up your car. During my pick up, I told the counter I have my own car insurance and I don't need their pack, but regardless he started his preaching speech saying how good their pack is blablabla... After I refused him a second time, he began to ask for my insurance company and policy number, claiming he needs all those to go with my pick-up. What a crook! After wasting 30min at the counter realizing they are more than willing to spend a whole day pressuring any single customer I gave it up. 3. Compulsory Full Tank Gas Purchase. They force you to buy a full tank of gas from them, even if you are on a 1 day rental and cannot use even half. 4. Poor Car Condition. For the KIA OPTIMA I got, super old car with clips and scratches everywhere. Bluetooth can't even connect well. Most importantly, the auto option on the switch is broke, which nearly killed me during my night drive in the mountain. It was later that I realize I have to manually toggle headlights every time. For your own safely and money-saving purposes I don't recommend this place, there are possibly more dips you could run into besides everything I have mentioned above. Anyway I won't rent from here anymore myself. Really stingy, dirty and untrustworthy place.
