Used the virtual monitor to check in and it was great.  Picked our own car from the lot and off we went.  Price was excellent and it was completely stress-free.  Return was quick & easy as well.  Very impressed.  Wasn't nagged to get any extras.  A great experience compared to my other experiences with other rental car companies.  My first experience with the virtual monitor and it saved us a lot of time from standing in line.

Customer service at Hertz LAX was great. Their express check-in counters were a new concept to me, but I was able to pick-up a phone at one of their "stalls" and was connected to a remote agent immediately. She was incredibly helpful and very friendly. Another new concept for me was their "Ultimate Choice" program where I got to choose any of the cars on the lot (in my category, of course). It made the process fun and enjoyable. You can't really say that a lot about renting a car. The shuttle drivers were also extremely helpful.

I always use Hertz when ever I rent a vehicle. I love the ease of their gold members club and the ability to just go straight to your car and drive off. 

When I visited this location, I hadn't reserved a car before hand, so I waited on line and spoke to a representative.  I was really out of by the salesmen tactics I felt we're being used. 

They continually tried to up sale me, get me to upgrade to a different vehicle, buy more insurance then I needed, etc etc.  It was really of putting.  Could they see my history and know what I typically get and just let me be on my way??

Not sure what the training is for this place, but not the Hertz experience in used to and I don't think I'll be back.

I was helped by the automatic kiosk, where I spoke to a live human inside of a computer. 

He was very helpful, but it was very weird. 

In a day in age where we are distancing ourselves from social personable interaction, I missed talking to someone in person. But I was helped, and got a great car with a lot of ease.

I have been with Hertz for years and never had any qualms. You are literally in and out if you booked online beforehand. Great vehicle selections too, something for everyone. Rent a red Corvette! Totally worth the price. Exhilarating!
