My family and I have enjoyed our time at the Caravelle Resort. Although the resort building is quite old and run down, we could see that there were renovations being performed in various parts of the property. The pool, spas, and other outdoor amenities were all great and where we spent most of our time. Our condo was a privately owned condo and absolutely beautiful. For this reason I can't comment on the status of other condos at the resort. Overall, highly satisfied with The Caravelle Resort.

My boyfriend and I stayed there this past week. We booked the Oceanfront King room back in late January. Upon arrival, they gave us the wrong room in the main building with two double beds. We went back down to the check in building and the guy immediately fixed it for us ( i wish i could remember his name but he was great!) and explained that they were just reopening a bunch of rooms in the main building after renovations and the room numbers were a little different. Anyways, all the pools and hot tubs were open along with the lazy river and ice cream/pizza place! was very peaceful but they could use a hot tub by the main pools outside. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Caravelle, the employees were very nice, and we would return for future vacations!

We booked here with a soccer team for a tournament. We were told we would have ocean front with 2 queens. When we arrive we have 2 doubles, ocean VIEW, and the kitchen table is missing. The parking deck is flooded. The lighting in the room is AWFUL. I have never been so disappointed. I tried to find somewhere else to go and it is all booked. Customer service was awful. I will NEVER stay here again!

We've stayed at Caravelle/St. Clements several times in the past and we were always happy & satisfied. This past trip will probably be our last trip there. St Clements room was just not what we are used to....our king bed felt like it was broken. Hallway did smell like cigarette smoke. Again as others said, construction was going on and half of the hotel amenities were closed. Very disappointing that we couldn't use the parts of the Caravelle that we are used to having access to and no one informed us of this beforehand. Bright point of trip was going to Santa Maria restaurant. Good breakfast and the lady who makes the omelets and waffles is awesome.

STAY AWAY! I was very disappointed at our recent stay at Caravelle Resort. The room we rec'd was nothing like their website. Traveling 6 hours, checking in at 3 pm to find out that your accommodations is nothing like what you booked was a nightmare. Nothing else was available and we were told they couldn't do anything about it. We were placed in the "Tower" which is outdated, needs paint and rusting. The room smelled like dated smoked. I will NEVER go back to this location! Very Pricey and I would say is the worst Hotel Accommodations that I have ever had at Myrtle Beach.
