Shuttle from the airport took about 30 minutes to show up (while 5+ shuttles from every other rental spot drive by) and office was completely unorganized, giving both us and another family keys to the same car. Low prices and the car was fine, but customer service is definitely not their strong suite. Will avoid Thrifty when shopping rental cars in St. Louis next time.

Overcharged me. Upgraded my vehicle without permission to a giant car that I didn't need or want. The desk person and other staff were pretty nice though.

Worst experience ever!!!! First they gave me a car with expired plates on it, which was only discovered because I got pulled over for it not having legitimate plates. They MADE me bring that one back the next day to exchange it and they put my family in a car that had not been cleaned AT ALL. It smelled so bad my kids didn't even want to get into it, but was my only option because there was no manager available for 4 days. When I was finally able to talk to her they had me bring the car back, and then I had to give them 200 MORE dollars for a deposit even though they already had a deposit. Right there should have been my sign, but unfortunately I have to be able to get to work and kids to school, and had to extend my rental. I did it over the phone, for a week, on Saturday. I come out of work tonight and they turned the vehicle off so I could not drive it. When I call you said it was due back Thursday and that you tried to call and then said a # that isn'the even mine!!!!!! I don't know what you people at Thrifty think a week is, but here let me tell you...7 days. Your staff is very unprofessional and are obviously stealing from all of us who use your services. Not to mention the paperwork I have from you states I am in a completely different  vehicle then the contract says. It seems like you all are more interested in pocketing cash then renting cars! If I was you guys I also wouldn't tell someone to leave keys in an unlocked car in the hood and yes I told you all this, so you probably won't see it again. Proving my point once again that this is a joke of a company.

Total dump. Rude employees. The place smells like mold. Horrible customer service. Avoid at all costs. I write this as I am at the customer service desk. This place SUCKS.

This was REALLY not worth it. Thrifty  was  the furthest from the airport. The staff was dismissive- rude. The signs to the return lot pointed in the wrong direction. The staff reply was that they'd been wrong for years.
Other reviews are right: Shuttle bus driver was nice. Everyone else: not so much.
So one star for the shuttle guy.
Please fix this Thrifty!
