Service picking up the car was amazing.  The lady was the sweetest rental car lady ever.  The car was so nice and clean. Drop off was easy as could be. Plus the cost wasn't bad. Definitely will use them next time we come.

OMG!!! I tried to save $400 in my rental but decided Hertz who owns Thirfty was worth the extra $400 for the 2 day rental. Night and day difference. Rude, unprofessional, ignorant and incompetent. I thought there was an issue with the person in front of me not knowing how to rent a car but it was the Thrifty lady.  Simply not worth the hassle. Buyer beware. Rent elsewhere

No stars. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We had reserved and paid for an eight seater weeks ago. We get there and the Lady is very rude. We do not get the car that we asked and paid for. The lady behind the desk was racist. I advise anyone to go anywhere else but here to rent your car!

Not a good experience, we waited outside on a hot day for over an hour. Finally got to the desk and was told there were no mid-size cars available. Tried to upsell us to a Mustang convertible for +$25/day. When we said no, lowered the upsell price to $20/day. We still said no, and after a few minutes told us there was actually a car available - meaning the upsell was totally a gimmick. Then we were given three choices for protection, but this is also a gimmick, because they don't say that it's optional. They just ask which one you want to pick, and they don't say it's for protection or that you don't need it if your credit card or auto insurance covers rental cars. If you are covered by one of these, say none even though it's not an obvious option. Won't ever use them again.

Horrible experience. I booked for a rental weeks in advanced but during the booking process there was no mention that if you pay with a debit card that a credit check will be ran. I was denied my rental at the counter when I got there to pick up and it completely ruined the plans I had for the week. I had to change some of my hotel reservations because of this and since it was short notice I was unable to get a refund. I lost hundreds of dollars due to this. Will never look into using this company again.

I used a toll road and was charge a fine of $15 per toll.  I had to pay $75 for 5 tolls.  Highway robbery by Thrifty.  Other rental companies I use do not hit renters with fat hidden toll charges.  Needless to say, Thrifty is off my car rental company list.

Prepaid for a car rental for a flight that came in Christmas Day. The flight was delayed, and when I got to rental desk at 11pm, there was nobody there. I got a hotel room and came back the next day, and they said they would not honor my reservation or refund my money. Manager was very condescending and rude. I am still trying to get my money back. Will not rent from Thrifty in the future.

We arrived at the airport and walked the parking garage in Nashville for over an hour trying to find an employee, only to finally give up, rent a hotel room and call an Uber for the night. When we called in the morning, staff was unhelpful. After ubering BACK to the airport and waiting again for over an hour, we are finally on our way to Knoxville, an entire day behind.

Overall experience was good and was upgraded to a bigger suv.  Only concern was the check in took wayy too long and they processed my card twice. I am going to check my credit card and see if they charged me twice.

Terrible customer service. Rude employee who was in car area. Gave me a lower model than the premium I had ordered. Terrible service upon return. This was also Hertz together so actually it is not just Thrifty at BNA.
