I came today for my son's passport application. Overall I think the service was good. I arrived at 7:30am and I was the first one. I was able to wait indoors. At 8am there were about 5 people behind me, and by 9am when the post office opens, there were about 20 people in the line. Maybe it's because it's the holiday season so the traffic is lighter than usual. The passport application office opened at 9:10am, earlier than the time posted on the door. Since we had all documents prepared, it only took us about 10 minutes for the process. A few things to note: 1. If you (or your child) have an expired passport, you need to bring it. I don't think this is explicitly required according to state.gov website. 2. Both parents' driver's licenses need to be copied front and back. We only brought front copies of our DLs, but the lady was nice to allow us to make copies of the back in the office (for 50c). I brought some magazines and a hot drink. It was a not bad experience.

Literally awful! Ive been delayed on my package for over a week! Last update i got was that it was coming from san fransisco to my location! Nothing since, no numbers to call, error pages for sending them emails... WHERE IS MY PAINT!!!

Stern but dutiful clerks. Not a pleasant experience but they get the job done. Self-service kiosk available just outside lobby.

horrible service for passport application. No clear sign or instruction about the line or signup sheet. website and the sign on the door says the service starts from 10am but it is totally not true. arrived 40min early and wait there for 40min like an idiot until somebody told me there is signup sheet, which was open starting some time ago. chatted with several persons in line and many of them need to come twice to have it done: nobody knew what's going on at the first time. the lady has no patience and ask for additional copies different from the instructions. so sorry to see the public service is so poor.

Prepare for long wait, mail holds to not be processed correctly (some stuff delivered, some stuff held), and no one having a clue of what's going on and being put off without followup.
