Giving this place 5 stars based solely on the service we received from one particular individual/employee. We were helped by a staff member named M. and she was super helpful and nice. We had a passport appointment on Sat and luckily she was still able to process our paperwork even though we were a little bit late. She double checked every detailed information with us and explained to us what we could expect in terms of turn around time and if anything emergent came up, the contact info. In terms of passport processing, it closes by noon on the weekends. You can go to the post office on 70th street as they take walk-ins and they open til 2pmm. This particular employee is one of a kind and I wish more employees were like her. Definitely an excellent role model.

Abysmal staff . Utterly unprofessional. Horrible customer service. Whatever they get paid is way way more than deserved. Avoid that branch.

Not as crowded as other locations I've been to. One star off because the lady that helped me ignored me until she and two co-workers finished a personal conversation.

NY is notorious for bad customer service and rude employees, but this place REALLY takes it above and beyond — even by NYC standards. Save yourself a bad day and bad vibes and go to the 71st location instead.

I love this post office. As someone who lives in Brooklyn, this is vast improvement over my local post offices. I love the self service station. I have found the staff helpful and accommodating, preventing me from purchasing a more expensive envelope than I needed. The line is usually short. For a small space, it's very efficient.
