I was just in here less than an hour ago and the service I received from the husband (owner) was exceptional a few weeks ago when I had to mail a ton of boxes to make a cake for my brother. He was super polite and helpful, I was actually coming in to thank him for getting my packages processed so quickly as everything arrive on time and in great condition. Now....for today, I normally have tape with me to finish my boxes if for some reason I don't want to seal them at home and today was such a case. I actually thought I grabbed my tape but once I arrived I didn't have it. So, usually post offices have like at least one roll of tape out during the holidays so I figured I'd seal my remaining two packages there. I roll in with my boxes stacked on a dolly and there was absolutely only "ONE" customer at the counter talking to the husband but the wife was there. I unload my two boxes, walk to the counter and politely ask if she had some tape. She grabs a roll of tape, I say thank you and she says....and I quote "That will be $3.99...well, we don't have tape just to give away"...Super rude and condescending I might add. I sat the tape back down on the counter and told her I didn't need to buy a roll of tape as I have a large roll at home. I was about to just blow it off and go ahead and mail the other 3 boxes, until she looks at me and says (I had moved  AWAY from the counter by this time and there was still NO ONE there but me and the customer still speaking with the husband)..."You'll need to move and stand in line behind the blue sign?"... (as if I've never been in a post office before). I so did not appreciate her tone and I could have gotten super ugly but, maybe that's what she was expecting?  So, I just politely gathered all of my boxes and walked out as there is more than one Post Office in Colorado Springs and I run my own business and know so well that customer service?...is key to "keeping" a business. So, maybe that $3.99 roll of tape was worth losing a good customer? Maybe so.

Newly reopened and great!  Only one guy working, but he was extremely quick and competent.  Excellent service for this time of year; I was in and out in less than two minutes, even with a non-USPS box.

Irresponsible Post Office! Certified a notice to vacate letter. It was very important for it to get to its destination on time. We certified it on a thurday and the lady assured us it would be there by the upcoming tuesday. Its been 2 weeks, it was sent to Denver though it needed to get to 
20 minutes down the road. and now its nowhere to be found. Will Never, Ever Use This Post Office!!! Aparently, they send mail to Denver, but they dont tell you 👎🏻

The rollups don’t come up til 9am. 4 star is due to less reliable service in general. Lack of tracking updates or packages getting lost in transit (not often but I’ve never had these issues in San Diego, and I lived there for 20 years.

Post Office is under contract again and open for business. Usually only one person at the counter.
