Was nervous about the other reviews but the experience was great. Was very friendly when renting the car and the car we got was clean and ready to go. Returning the car was just as easy. Would rent from again.

They charged me twice - once when I made the reservation on-line and the second time after I returned the car. I called their help-desk and it seems that I need to call their office at the hotel (Las Vegas- Stratosphere) to get reimbursed the second charge. Of course no one is picking up at the hotel...They may have good prices, but be aware of the hidden costs of poor systems and poor customer service.

Was within a block of the hotel I was staying in. Reserved my car online a week in advance. Showed my email confirmation and was out to the garage to get the car. Went over the car with Alejandro and was on my way to the Grand Canyon. Car was clean but had a weird body order smell coming out of the vents at some points. 

Car was in excellent shape, drove great. Price was good. I turned the car in after hours and put my keys in the drop box. The next day I notice an additional $15.32 charge on my card. I called the budget and no answer. I walk to the stratosphere to ask about the charge. I was told the lady that checked in the vehicle marked the fuel guage as 7/8th full. I told him I filled up the vehicle a half a block away and drove straight to the parking lot. He refunded the charge but it left me wondering how often they do that to someone and would that have been as easy if I had already left Vegas.

Made reservations months in advance to pick up at this location. The office called me the day before I was supposed to pick up and told me they had no car for me with no other solution. The lady's exact words were "don't shoot the messenger, when I came into work this morning, my manager just gave me a list of customers to call to let them know we cannot fulfill their reservation." I had to call the main customer service number to get help and they told me to rent a car from a diff. company and they would reimburse me the difference. I contacted them to get the money only to be told NO because I paid for the transaction with my husband's credit card, even though the reservation was clearly under my name. Such ridiculousness. I am still in dispute with Budget over this BS.

We rented a budget rent a car at McCartney airport. On our last day we were going to ask if we could turn in the car at the stratosphere hotel so we were waiting in line for about 15 minutes and finally was our turn to speak with the employee. This idiot customer cuts in front and tries to go before us saying he had a quick question to ask the guy. I complain to the guy we were waiting in line first. The employee tries to take the guy cutting in line side, which made my party pretty mad. His excuse was that that customer had a reservation and we told the guy we had a rental car from their company and just needed our question answered and it's not fair for us to be cut by this guy. He answered our question really fast and we left. About ten minutes later that other guy is still standing there for whatever his issue was so obviously his question was not quick. The employee should have told the idiot customer this gentlemen were waiting in line first and that would have been the way to handle that instead of trying to make us wait longer.
