I had a car reserved and paid for but they didn’t have a car for me and didn’t try to find one at another location. They made me call myself and I spend 20 on hold trying to find another car.

Always were with great price and customer service, but last weekend they fell flat on their face. Dragged me for two days claining no truck for me, and then never called back.

Deeply disappointed in Budget. Their evanston location really dropped the ball on this one. I had done a reservation two weeks in advance and when I got there first thing at 730 am that morning for my pickup, I was told that there was no rental truck available for me. I was never warned in advanced about this and the person at the desk did not apologize and asked me to call customer service and did not go out of his way to service me considering that I was the one being inconvenienced. This caused a bigger headache for me as I had to leave my apartment by noon and I eventually had only 2.5 hours to move all my belongings into a different rental service through Penske that came through at the last second. This could have been worse as I had to legally leave my building by noon. Very disappointed in the service and all customer service could do was offer a measly 10% discount, which through Penske, I actually saved more money and did not have to wait even longer to get themselves corrected. I will never use them again.
