This was my second experience with Car Max. The first time I wanted them to give me a price for purchase of my SUV. They did so and I looked at a few SUV's but nothing jumped at me. Well, I bought an SUV from another dealer and because they gave me such a nice trade in value on my other vehicle, the dealer matched Car Max offer for trade. They were not even close until I brought the trade offer from Car Max to them. Anyway, when I was ready to trade this SUV in I research several dealers in the area and was impressed with the Car Max inventory. I found the SUV I wanted in OH and they shipped it here for me in a few days. I liked the whole process because it was very low stress and the price they gave me was the price I paid! No surprises here like at other places. They whole process was very smooth and everyone there was terrific. So, I will be going back to Car Max again for my next purchase for sure!!

When shopping for a car, my wife was unsure of exactly what she wanted right off the bat. Between Bobby B. and Kevin R., we were able to have her test drive quite a few vehicles and really narrow down the field of interest. Both guys did a fantastic job of educating and helping differentiating the HUGE inventory of the lot. They reduced our level of effort so we could really focus on what we need. An absolutely amazing experience.

It was so easy and convenient. I did not realize you could walk the lot, uninterrupted by salesmen, and hop into any car you wanted to check out because they were all unlocked already. I had to plan extra time because of this to try out as many vehicles as possible, since I originally only had 3 cars I wanted to see on the lot. The whole process after I selected my car was super easy. Staff was great and super friendly. They also offered me a great deal on my trade-in which I did not expect given it's condition. Would recommend to anyone.

Pretty disappointing. I called and asked a simple question about pricing but the salesperson could not or would not go off script to answer. The implication being he knew more what i could afford than i did. Condescending. All i needed to know was that, no, we do not carry cars in your price range but got a whole spiel instead. A simple yes or no, not an essay question. BTW, i have never poorly reviewed any business.

No pressure sales? Accepts personal checks? Huge online inventory and real life lot? Excellent salesman to help you along the way? If you want these things when buying a car then Carmax is for you. This was the easiest experience we ever had buying a car, a process that we normally dread. Julio was our sales rep and he was fantastic. I'd highly, highly recommend him for your car buying experience.
