I made the mistake of renting from this company because the rates were much cheaper than others. What a mistake!  I had taken the car out of state when I broke down on the side of the road 3 hours away from home. Since there were no locations close by, I was instructed to have the car towed to a nearby parking lot, leave the key on the front passenger tire, and it would be transported back to the rental location. When I asked how I was supposed to get home, the manager, Tim, told me I would have to rent a car through a new agency but that he would reimburse me for the two days I had left on the contract.  
The car was not picked up until three days later and when it was returned to the rental location, Tim told me that there was extensive damage to the underside of the car from hitting something in the road and that he was going to file a claim with my insurance.  Furthermore, he refused to reimburse me for the two days as originally promised.  I asked him how he can hold me responsible for the damage when the car was left unattended for so long with the key accessible to anyone.  He said it was highly unlikely that someone would take the car, cause damage, and return it. What I think is more likely, is that the damage was done after it was transported back to the rental agency in order to file a false insurance claim. 
Unfortunately, I was in such a hurry to make rental arrangements that I did not read reviews. If you look at Yelp, you will see that these are normal business practices with this company.  They have quite the racket going, and it seems like they continue to operate by taking advantage of people and filing false insurance claims.  The up front "savings" I thought I was receiving has actually cost me hundreds more than had I stuck with a reputable rental agency.

Kind staff, but the terms of the online purchase changed by over $100 at the counter. They don't seem to understand how to work with online vendors. They required additional liability insurance and backed down from "unlimited mileage" per the e-mail contract switching to $15/day or $.25/mile. Never had a problem with Enterprise, Avis, or other large companies out of Newark. Disappointing. Should have checked Yelp reviews earlier... they explain the same issues.

The staff helped us into our rental car seemlessly. We were in and out in a jiffy. The car was clean and odorless (very important - the wrong scent can make me nauseous). Car was really good on gas too.
Drivo also has shuttle buses to Newark airport.  Getting a rental car off site from the airport really $$ paid off $$. Best prices by far!

Friendly staff. Shuttle service no problem. I received an upgrade when the car I reserved was unavailable.

Horrible  Lie after lie and simple !  Don't expect shuttle service at night . We had to hitch a ride with the hotel next door and slip the driver 40 dollars to take us back to hotel. Almost missed our flight by two freaking min.. Yes 2 min....   a nightmare total horse shet!  Stay away! Far away.... you've been warned !
