Very unpleasant experience at return. Checkout everything went great. Mile was nice (hence 2 stars instead of 1). 

At return i brought the vehicle back at nearly 3/4 (when it left at 1/2. So I GAVE THEM more gas). Well she then says my total is $85. Seems a lot for 3 days that my insurance is paying for 80% if. I look at the bill and she charged me the PENALTY charge of 9.99/gallon for not "refueling" well when I pointed it out to her she tried blaming the checkout agent saying I purchased the FPO (fuel purchase option). Well my contract does not list the FPO. And their fueling sign has 3 options...my contract and receipt do not say FPO (which would've been at $2.08 a gallon if I had purchased it). And said my receipt says I'm being charge for $29.40 of fuel and services at $.42 per mile or 9.99/gallon. I worked for Avis for six years and I worked for advantage for two years which was/is owned by hertz and has the same system. She tried covering HER MISTAKE and blaming the other Agent. I will never come here again, even if my insurance is paying. 

They even said they couldn't adjust the contract and would have to call it in. Well when I used to work at advantage many of the outside agents would mess up the fuel at checkin and they used to come inside so we could fix it. They could have adjusted it, they just did not want to. They are probably using the same system as I used. With all the button tabs on the left side saying "return, rent etc.)

Bad Customer relations with their clients dont even have the courtesy to explain or say anything very rude people they ask you ig you have an appoitment rathere than fining out

Only one person at the counter. Waited 45min just to get a pre-reserved car. HERTZ, YOU NEED TO STAFF THIS AGENCY. Lady is nice but alone .... .

Returning my rental for an upgrade on a last minute call during rush hour on a Monday was something I didn't anticipate. however I was greeted and assisted by a service agent with great respect and wonderful customer service. He took care of my needs and hooked me up pretty quick despite the overload rush that was there on this Monday. I was in my new rental and off to work on time. I like to thank DANIEL MATOS at the Gibson road hertz rental for his wonderful service to me. Im very grateful for all your help and time. I will surely return in the future and refer others to your establishment. Thanks again...Tracey kaneko

Zero stars if it were available.  

I have rented/returned at this location at least half a dozen times in the last couple of years, and things are no different each time.  They have three or four people at the counter who are either talking on the phone, or going outside, or in back where you can't see them, not servicing the customers that are right in front of their faces.  They answer phone calls with no hesitation, but can't even look at the people in the store to see how they can help them or make their experience with Hertz better.  Every time I have been in the store, there are at least three or four other highly agitated people because they are terrible.  

Please go rent from the McCarran Rental Car terminal.  It is busy there, but at least you can select from a dozen companies if one of them is not giving the service rental car customers expect.  I will be dropping off at McCarran in the future, and will not be renting from Hertz any more.  I have given them bad surveys, and am waiting to hear back from them to see if they can rectify my issues.
