I went with this Hertz location after a car accident. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company and were incredibly helpful, funny and made everything easy for me. I highly recommend this location--everything was timely and done with a high degree of professionalism and personality. I honestly had no idea renting a car could be fun!

I had a horrible experience with hertz today. My auto shop was booked out a couple months so I called in to hertz 2 months prior to make my reservation. A week before(July 30th) I was supposed to get my rental car i called in to ask for a larger car that could fit my three car seats. Someone named Flip answered the phone and immediately put me on hold for 20 minutes. I finally hung up and called back as Flip answers again. I told him I was calling back because he had put me on hold for that long and he seemed not to care, no apology. Nothing! I then made sure I had the reservation, which he couldn't find under my name. He then asked if it was through insurance. I told him "yes, through State Farm" he then says that's why he couldn't find it and said he now saw my reservation. He was rude and I thought to myself he was probably going to put me in the worst car they had because he seemed like he was annoyed with me. A week later I call in as I'm on my way to the auto shop to drop my car off and be picked up from hertz. (Which Flip told me to do) Flip answers again. I told him I was on my way so they would know when to pick me up. He asks for my name and tells me I had no reservation. I told him I had called twice and should have one and He was the one I talked with. He tells me it wasn't him and he hasn't been on the phone in over a month. I know it was him. Who forgets a name like Flip and he had the same voice and same bad attitude as before. He tells me there are no cars for me and I would be put on a waitlist and gives me the number for another hertz. I don't think Flip should be in customer service. He is rude and I'm sure he's not who a company wants answering their phones. Later I called State Farm to figure out if I could go somewhere else and they tell me my hertz reservation was canceled July 30th. The same day I talked to Flip. I don't know how my reservation just disappeared but luckily my auto shop let me take one of their rentals. Never going to hertz again. I'll be sharing this story with my friends and community. In my experience Enterprise has always been great!!

Short version: Myself and 15 other customers did not receive a car despite reservations, and I was given nothing but the impression that I was a bother for the employees. Long version: I reserved a car several weeks in advance and when I arrived from the airport, they claimed no cars were available. Not only were no cars available, but 15 customers were ahead of me waiting for a car as well. Hertz claimed that they did not have my phone number (which is false since I had to provide it during the booking) so they did not warn me ahead of time. They said I could wait until noon the next day, and they MIGHT have a car for me then. Beyond that, I was offered no assistance in finding another car. Since I couldn't wait around a day and a half for a 'maybe', I asked for a refund. After some argument, the associate at the rental office called Hertz's general corporate line, which ended up in "give up to 2 weeks for a refund". I was given no additional information to track my refund and I will need to call the corporate line myself to try and start this process over from scratch. This location tried at all times to divert blame and avoid accountability. Employees were careful to not give names or involve the manager, even when asked. We were told more than once when asking for help, "[The manager] will just tell you the same thing." This was one of the worst customer interactions I have experienced, and at best I was shown apathy by the employees. Not a recommended location.

Overall a headache but great customer service through it all. Reserved a car 3 months in advance for a trip to my sister's wedding with my two young children. Got a call late the night before I was to pick up the car informing me that I likely would not get the car. The next morning I called in and was told there was a glitch of some sort all across Oregon Hertz and I likely wouldn't get a car for several days. I called back repeatedly, every couple of hours, to check to see if I could pick up a car. Each time I spoke to Flipp. It was clear he was fielding a lot of angry people but he was very professional when he spoke to me. Flipp ended up coming through for us and getting us a car that night. He even personally greeted us when we got there. I had my 3 year old son with me. There were obviously a lot of upset people who weren't getting their reserved cars but one man in particular was yelling obscenities. Flipp kindly asked the man to stop swearing and yelling in front of my child. When the man refused and persisted, he was kindly but firmly invited to leave. I was so impressed by that. In the end, yes it was frustrating that I wasn't able to get the car that morning but I did get it and I was floored by the amazing customer service I was provided even in their time of crisis. Thank you Flipp! You seriously saved our trip.

I had the worst experience ever with them they were rude . I made reservations a week in advance for 2 cars and when I went to pickup the cars they were rude supposed to pickup the 2 cars at 9:30am got there one of the cars wasn't ready after waiting for 5 hours they wouldn't let us get the cars cause they said we had a debit card. Which wasn't true I have 2 major credit cards but they refused to take the credit card . This is the worst customer service that I ever received when trying to rent a car . This place rent a car place is the worst ever they left us in the place of business twice for 30+ min talking about they was going to get more cars. Don't ever rent a car from Hertz's Rental cause they are horrible.
