Good location. Isn't located at the airport though. You'll have to take a shuttle for pick up and drop off if that's where you're coming from. Staff are friendly, and very helpful. Had a Nissan Sentra, it was very clean, no issues with the vehicle. They will give you option to prepay for fuel to return the the car at whatever level, however I would not recommend this. The price per gallon that they are (all rental companies) is a rip off. If you opt out of this, they ask that you fill the car within a 10 Mike radius of the location. There's tons of options around, including discounted options. I will definitely rent from this location again if I return to the Portland area.

Customer service was very friendly and helpful.  We got a great last minute deal on an intermediate car which suited us perfectly.  Shuttle wait time was very short.  Check in and car return was very quick and painless.

They were very helpful getting me the car i wanted, the lady at the counter was respectful and kind...every time i travel to Portland i will be renting through Thrifty!

You must know... #PortlandOregonThriftyCarRental 

First you need to take a shuttle to the rental hub from the airport.  Wait on the center median outside for shuttle! (We walked all over to find Thrifty when some one finally directed us to the median and shuttle we needed.)

 At Thrifty...we arrived at night.  Went to the counter... I was pre paid through a flight bundle on #expedia.
They put an additional hold of $350.00 on my card! Wow!  After a lengthy process time they sent me out to retrieve my car. 

I was sent me out to a DARK lot to find my car with my disabled brother in tow.  (Tiny light at far end of lot) Cars were in numbered parking spaces.  You could hardly read the numbers! All were parked with keys inside.  It was a bit scary!  Grungy lot...dark... Tired from a cross country flight... Missed my Enterprise!

So...i found the car... Had to drive around to a window where I showed the person my rental papers.  I asked for an inspection.. She said... "We've already done that for your convenience"... Hmmm ok... That $350.00 hold was feeling vulunerable.

Haven't returned the car yet... We'll see how the back side works!

BTW the shuttle driver was great! Super personable cute kid.  The one shining jewel!

All I can say...Folks this is NOT #Enterprise
If you know what to expect.. You won't be disappointed!

personnel were courteous and cooperative.  our pickup and return were processed promptly.  We will continue to use Thrifty.
