I have been a little disappointed with Furniture Hut. We actually went to their store for the first time on 9/4. The sales person we worked with seemed very nice and knowledgeable. We ordered two chairs. He said that they should arrive in approximately 3 weeks. The paperwork did indicate that it could take 4-6 weeks, but the sales person seemed confident that it would only take 3 weeks. I called on 10/10 and was told that the chairs were ready and should arrive in one to two weeks. Since it has been over two weeks, I called again today and was told that they are estimating 11/1, but they were not sure. If we do get the chairs next week, the time to get them will be almost 8 weeks. If I had known how long it would actually take to get the chairs, I would have ordered from Lazy Boy where we recently purchased our couches. We received them exactly when they said they would be in. Now, I am hoping that the quality of the chairs, when we finally do receive them, is better than what I have seen on some of the other reviews.

WARNING! PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! I wanted to let everyone know our experience with Texas Furniture Hut. First off, we ended up spending over $11,000 furnishing our home after Hurricane Harvey. After my family and I walked in, the sales representative was friendly, met us at the door and we did receive personalized attention. He told us that 100% customer satisfaction is the most important about the store and they would do whatever it took to make us satisfied. This was true until they took our money and then the entire experience changed. We purchased specifically a dining room table which we initially thought would be a great fit for our boys, especially considering one of them is autistic. However, once the table arrived and we noticed how much difficulty he was having sitting at the table and ended up busting his chin on it. We called the company the day of delivery about this as well as the next two days to see if we could work something out. We offered to exchange the table and even offered to bring it up to the store ourselves and pay the restocking fee. However, they did not care. They did not even ask how our son was doing after that and just wanted to make sure we knew they did not take furniture back. When I referenced the 100% customer satisfaction (that is also stated on their website) it was ignored. We also purchased a TV stand that had a warped door that would not shut. Upon delivery, the delivery team (who were great) even noted that this piece needs to be returned and they would let the store know so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. We not only had to file a claim, but send in pictures showing the door was not shutting correctly. This place only cares about the bottom line. They do not care about you as the customer, only making the sale. I was initially excited we found this place, and now telling everyone I know to please do not shop here.

Staff wasn't very friendly, followed us through the store like we were going to steal something. Made us very uncomfortable, and since the selection was lacking, we decided to just leave. I thought the prices were way too high also.
