I never post online but I truly felt motivated after meeting Melissa out of the Nashville Airport location. She has to be the most pleasant and informative person I met on my trip. She not only set us up with a great rental but she took the time to give us highlights in the area. Wonderful employee! If anyone deserves a raise at work its her.

If I could give them a lower score I would. This company is one of the most pathetic I have ever used. We travel pretty regularly and rental cars are of course a necessity. I was traveling from arizona to Tennessee and my card declined because I forgot to worn my bank I was traveling. Once the transaction cleared they refused to serve me because my debit card did not match My Wife’s ID. They would not make any exceptions even though they had already ran my card previously. I have contacted them on multiple accounts and keep getting passed back and forth for hours now. No one is able to help me even though a mistake was made on their end. Now I am $300 down and without a car. For most people $300 is a lot and it stops me from being able to rent from another location.  Horrid costumer service is you ask me.

Could not have been an easier car rental experience.   Very nice fleet of vehicles.    Highly recommend.

A common way for rental car companies to increase their profits is to charge an entire day rate even if you only exceed a 24 hour period by 1 minute. I recently rented from Thrifty and they were going to charge me three days even though I reserved the vehicle for only 2 days and 6 hours. So I decided to keep the vehicle for 2 days and 23 hours to maximize the purchase! I suspected they might try to ding me for doing this so I phoned in and spoke with a customer service agent who promised me that it was ok to return it just prior to the 72 hour mark and I wouldn't be charged anything extra. He also promised that he was making a note to the account. However, when I returned the car they added a $20 dollar late fee even though I arrived an hour before the car was due back. I had to go to their service desk to have the late fee removed even though I was early! Shame on you Thrifty!

Unfortunately 1 star is as low as it allows you to rate.  This was the worst car rental experience I've ever had.  I rent weekly due to work travel,  and I only used thrifty this time because they had cars available where others didn't - I guess now I know why.  
I never received a receipt, though several charges showed up on my credit card,  well above the agreed upon amount per the rental agreement.  I had also turned the car in early.  Upon return, (at the airport location in Nashville) there was no one at the garage office or at the counter inside the airport. I called the next day to check in and state that I had turned the car in, left the keys in the console with a window down (as instructed at other locations before). They advised that the transaction had been closed out. Now an additional $360 fee has appeared on my credit card several days later. I've spent 45 minutes so far on hold with 2 different numbers (main customer service number and local office number). I guess I'll be visiting the counter at the airport,  if they happen to be there tomorrow that is.  
Terrible service.  I will never use them again and wouldn't advise anyone else to either.
