I had a reservation and showed up on time 7.30am to be told they don't have cars. The employee did not show any remorse. She said it was not her fault. She suggested we check by noon "maybe" there will any cars available. I told her I must be somewhere in the next 4 hours. She gave me contact another location on Bell Rd. I called Bell Rd and explained the situation. They kept me on hold then hang up. I called the main office, they asked me to go to Sky Harbor airport to get a car there. I am in Peoria and supposed to drive to the airport!!!! after waiting on hold for more than 30 mins, I was told there might be a car just dropped off but it's not clean. I asked them how I could ride in a car not clean and not inspected!! Do they put their customer safety at risk??!! I asked them if I can get a car from another company, will they pay the difference, they said NO. I asked them then to find me a car nearby,  and they insisted it will be only at the airport. I asked if someone could bring the car to Glendale branch, they refused. What a terrible customer service. First they don't honor the reservation and are unwilling to help. Even after the 4-hour waiting they suggested, they never called back to let me know. Never again Thrifty.

I reserved a car and when I rode my bike all the way up there in the heat the clerk simply said we don't have any cars ma'am.   Not sure they understand the concept of a reservation... Won't ever use thrifty again

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Awhile back I made a reservation through Expedia and received a conformation number. I called thrifty to verify reservation when through and they confirmed. When we got there no one was inside employee was outside smoking. She tells me they have no cars. That if i had arrived early I wouldn't had one. I arrived on time. That day I had to leave to California for a emergency. What's the point of having. A reservation if the car is not going to be there!

I had a confirmed reservation for 9 am. I arrived on time only to be told they had no cars. I was told to call back periodically to find out if they had a car yet. I called frequently and after 4 1/2 hours. 
At about 1:45 pm I was told they had some cars now and if I could get there right away, they would "save" me one. 
At 2 pm I received my "confirmed reservation" car that was supposed to be 9 am. 
I was also told they were "sorry", but there would be no cost adjustment for the 5 hour delay. 

I went to the grocery store next to the car rental place and spoke to a cashier about my experience. She said the same thing happened to her at this same location and her family road trip vacation was delayed for four hours. 

Confirmed reservations appear to be meaningless.

Was going to reserve a car here. Was not greeted at the door, was just given a crazy look like "I'm here to work but don't want to" just left the enterprise a couple miles up that greeted me at the door. Ill spend $5 mire a day to a company that wants to EARN my business
