Even though this post office is less than two blocks away from home, I rather make the short commute to the post office on 68th and Columbus Ave. Unlike the courteous and professional staff at the 68th st location, almost everyone here has a bad attitude and can be very condescending to customers. There is a package drop off bin which no one seems to empty out once it’s full and you have to leave your package outside the bin which anyone can take.

Needing to send small envelopes to Canada. Was told they “don’t have any stamps right now”. It’s quite odd for a post office not to have stamps.

Great Post Office. Generally a trip to the Post Office is a miserable experience, but the staff here could not be more pleasant or helpful.

I have been going to this location for years because it's close to where I live. Here's hoping that management knows that very rarely have I left this office without a bitter taste in my mouth. Two star rating because they've never lost a package and have timely deliveries but one star for being so rude. Not all the employees are brusque and impatient but if I were a foreigner visiting New York and was "greeted" by one of these people I would leave with a terrible impression of New York. Overall experience 4/10. Truly.

Rude, uncooperative staff, do not have the basic knowledge of shipping and services.
