Came at 1230 completely fine fast line helpful employees. Mailing certified mail no problems here.

PS u can tell the wheelchair guy below me yes you have needs that we should respect and make changes to accommodate you but maybe somebody ... somebody should invest in stem cells instead of time spent complaining ... and suing ... think about it fix the problem don't spread negative energy.

I have witnessed loud confrontations with customers in the lobby almost every time I set foot in this God forsaken place. They go out of their way to be nasty, every single one of them. Its not your average rude NY post office, its something far sinister and nasty.

Employee at No. 6 register around noon on 10/23/2017 refused scan my pre-labeled packages after waiting in line for 20min. She just grabbed the packages and throwed  them in the box. I politely said that I waited in line to have the packages scanned. The employee said that I should have asked for them to be scanned and "now they are gone". I politely asked to be retrieved from the box and scanned. The employee yelled to step aside. I politely said that I need to talk to someone who could help me with scanning the packages, and the employee kept yelling at me to move over until some other employee came to calm her. I have never been treated anywhere like that in any other business, I would like an official apology and a follow up from the manager.

Terrible service. The line was out the building and the three people talking in the back refused to open a second service window. When a customer asked for the managers phone number she just yelled it at her, even after the woman asked nicely for it to be written. Incredible.

NOT Wheelchair Accessible. Stairs across the entire entrance, and no alternative way in. 

If you need to get something and you cannot negotiate steps, you have to wait around the entrance and try to get the attention of an employee (or ask another customer to help you do so). 

When I was eventually able to, the clerks were friendly and  as helpful as possible, ferrying forms and things back and forth for me. But this is 2017; the USPS can and should do better.
