Sean Taylor (finance) does not return phone calls or emails. I've needed feedback from him twice and I gave up the second time. Also, when you're buying a car (as I did) for a sweet price, he upsells you to the point that it's no longer a good deal. Whether it's a treatment to the cloth or the paint to protect it or a service contract, he gives you a brief summary of the  item that makes it look like a valuable thing, but he won't give you the specifics. After I insisted that I get the fine details of what I bought, I realized it doesn't really cover very much and won't last very long (months or miles). Don't buy anything he tries to sell you until you have ample time to study what he's really trying to sell you.

This review is for Walker's Renton Mazda (not Subaru), but I assume they're all connected. The whole experience in buying my new used car was respectful, patient and extremely helpful. Christian was very knowledgeable not only about the car I bought but also about all the questions I had from doing a bunch of research. My credit is terrible, so he and Brandon (the finance manager) worked really hard to make sure I could not only get a loan, but also afford to keep up with the payments. I'm very happy with my purchase and will recommend Walker's to anybody else I know who needs a car.

I purchased a Subaru Outback from Maddy Myrick in Aug 2016, and asked her to help me to trade it in for a 2018 in Feb 2018.  She is professional, pays attention to detail, attentively listens, is respectful and fun and has a great sense of humor.  I highly recommend her.  She delivers what her business card says, "a no sleaze experience".  Maddy provided me with 5 star customer service.

My experience with Sean Taylor from finance was NOT pleasant or respectful.  He pressured me to purchase service contracts rather than listening to my questions about them and clearly answering the questions.  His primary interest is getting the service contract sold and signed. I made the mistake of not insisting that I read the contracts prior to signing them.   I recommend taking all the time you need to read and understand what he trying to sell BEFORE you sign a contract.  Sean provided 2 star customer service.

I recently purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester from Walker's Renton Subaru and ended up with a great car for a fair value and good customer service from everyone I worked with there through the process. Diane Baldwin worked hard to help me match my needs and work through conditions of sale that were acceptable for me and Sean Taylor went out of his way to establish a post-sale warranty that fit my needs. Walker's was also responsive when I ended up with just a single key by picking up the cost of producing a second one. I recommend Walker's Renton Subaru for any looking to purchase a gently used Subaru and ensure that the process is a good one.

Walker's Renton Subaru is a phenomenal car dealership! My wife and I have never bought a new car and they made the whole experience remarkable when you consider the alternative seems to be the norm. I believe the sales person who helped us is named Kayla, and she did an incredible job making sure that every question we had was answered and that we new about the things that we didn't realize we needed to know. We also got our 2017 3.6 are Subaru Outback touring model for a steal, and will for sure buy from them in the future
