After an exhausting international travel the very last thing you want to do is waiting almost 2 hours in line to pick up your rental car. We have made our reservation online and thought we get our rental real quick
.. boy where we wrong. We walked to the Avis Preferred desk which was completely empty and asked if they could help us. The three ladies who sat obviously bored in their office said that if we are no preferred customers they could not help. When asked how we could become preferred customers they told us to get back in line at the regular desk. After waiting two hours in line a very friendly service employee told us the only thing you need  to do to become a preferred employee is to download the Avis app!!!!! Seriously? And the three ladies at the other desk where unable to share that information with us? Also with my husband being in the military we asked for a possible discount. We were told that they could do an upgrade but no discount. When we asked for the upgrade they wanted to charge us 16 dollars per day. Needless to say this will be the last time we used Avis and we will definitely not recommend it to anyone. This is no way to start into your vacation.

I have been renting cars from this company for a great many years and in many countries. My experience has always been more than pleasant, they have gone above and beyond to satisfy mine and my colleagues needs. For this Avis will always be my first choice when renting.. Many thanks to them!!

This is HANDS DOWN the worst Avis center in America. I travel every week and they can never figure out how to assign a vehicle before your arrival. Line is always backed up 6+ people to "see office."

Second attempt...still same output from this group. 34 min wait in preferred line. No car assignment. When is Avis Corporate going to send someone out to this location to audit them? This is literally insane.

The staff were nice. But the wait was long. It took a bit over an hour to get through the line. Once we made it through the line, it was pretty efficient. The car was clean and in good condition.  Drop off was easy.

For the quickest rental experience I recommend Avis at the Airport.  My rentals take no more than 5 minutes.  I have rented with all of the major car rentals agencies and Avis by far has been the best.
