Sk: It was awesome experience with Avis in Rutherford,NJ . They do have all brand new cars . They maintain pretty good relationship with customers who often wants to visit this place again and again for different variety of vehicles. They take the inputs from the customers and they will live up to the standards with strict policies. They look for each and every info of the customer whether it may  be corporate ID discount proof / licence / Major Credit card/ International ticket.  If customer doesn't show up with any of the above mentioned proof, they(agents) decline to provide vehicle.  I saw a customer, who was trying to be smart by using corporate discount code of someone and trying to  rent a vehicle. When asked to show the proof of the Corporate ID he was reluctant to show proof of the X company's Corporate proof. The Agent stated, no ID no Car.  

Be Genuine, U will walk away with a nice car and beautiful smile. I promise, you will have much better experience than anywhere else with beautiful environment.

Went here because it was close and had no other option - had the car for 1 day and 7 hours - $151.00 - haven't rented a car in a while but seemed expensive for a car that wasn't anything special. Lesson learned.

Great location, great office, great people, great price, great car, open Sundays, no problems what so ever, I can't understand why there are any negative reviews here, I had a great experience.

Terrible experience. Specially with the manager here in rutherford. He told me 1 thing on the phone and another when I showed up. He was 100% rude and ignorant. Tried scamming me for $700 for being 2 hours late. The original avis told him there was no charge. He was the most arrogant person I have ever had to deal with. I suggest NEVER going there.
