My experience with Enterprise was excellent. My car was totaled and Ms. Rachel and the other sales Reps. Worked hard to get me into a good dependable car. The car was clean and I had a full tank of gas. After the paperwork was signed I was on my way. If something comes up again, I wouldn't hesitate to rent another car from Enterprise.

Rude employees they don't tell you all the paper work you need to rent from them.... Very unfortunate and unprofessional place to go.. the only reason they got one star is to post this....

My wife set up out reservations over 2 months ago.  Checked it 2 weeks before we were supposed to get the car. Then again a week before  the car, just to make sure everything was going as planned so once I received the rental I could go ahead and go on our vacation.

Well, the day came for the rental,  I called ahead of the time, couple of hours.  Was told everything was good.  Well I went there and they didn't have my car, AT ALL.  They weren't even sorry about it.  They tried to give me a 16 passenger van instead of the compact.  I could not use a full size can for where we were going, and for dang sure couldn't afford the fuel for it.  I asked them if they would help out with anything else with it, comp insurance or something, they said NO.    Another customer and I made comments about some of the other vehicles in the lot(large and small suv's), and was told "those are accounted for" and that the go by a "first come first served" basis.  They wouldn't let us get them, but obviously let the other customer and my rental go, even though they were reserved.  They kept pushing the vans.

They told me to come back at 5 and there may be a chance of me getting a car.  Since I was dropped off by a friend I didn't have a ride back to my work.  They were nice enough to bring me back to work.  They asked if I needed to be picked back up and I said " yes, i need to be picked up at 5pm that day because they shut the gates and release watch dogs.  I can not be in there at that time".    At 4:45pm I called to make sure they were coming, was told "yes he will be there in a few minutes".   At 5:15pm I called again, the owner was closing the gates, the person answered said that "they haven't left yet, that it won't be until later before he could leave".   At that time i told them i didnt need to be picked up because I had a work truck and that I will go there.  I couldn't stand in front of my work until they "deside" when to get me and probably give my rental out.

I get there and the lot was full of customers and cars.  Watched several cars leave that could of been mine.  When I made a comment about it they said they "may have one in the back".  Well they did and told them I'll take it because I needed a car asap.    He walked me around it and I wasn't happy about it at all, but it was a rental that wasn't a van.  The guy had me sign some lines, while doing so, I make a comment about the inconvenience this whole ordeal has caused, me not having a car, not being picked up, and now having to deal with my work truck and the rental.   Had to take the rental and drive 30 miles to get my wife to drive back and get my work truck (total of 90 miles and a hour and a half later).  The rep said that they can't offer anything free, insurance etc..., but was going to give me a better deal on the rental fees or not charge me for a day. 

 First thing in the moring, after our trip, I bring the car back fully cleaned, vacuumed, detailed the interior, washed, and even armor all' d the wheels.  The rep still charged me the full face price.   Made a comment about what the other guy said and was dismissed like I wasn't there.  

I didn't mind the price, but the ordeal Wednesday cost me a whole day.  Also, being that it is Lumberton, I wasn't going to leave a car (personal or rental) unattended overnight in that area.  I was not going to be responsible for a car I dropped off beautiful and it get scratched, dented, stolen, or broken into and I have to pay for it.
