I travel a lot and rent many cars all over the country. I have used several rental companies, but I always go back to Enterprise. Their customer service is top notch and without peer. The Sacramento location is great. It's easy in and out and the staff are friendly and helpful. My last visit I had to wait about 10 minutes for them to bring the pickup truck I had reserved from the back. Since I had to wait, they paid for 1/2 a tank of gas. In a pickup truck, that isn't insignificant. I didn't complain about the wait, they simply offered the gas in order to make sure I was a delighted customer. I was.

Renting a car next week in Sacramento, so I called to ask some questions. I always rent from Enterprise and the staff is ALWAYS very nice and helpful. Not so in this case. The female associated was curt and seemed anxious not to engage me at all. Always trying to move me to a website or my email confirmation. This crew better be ready to provide great service when I arrive or they will meet their match. I know the company's values and adherence to the vision statement. We shall see.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Everyone behind me was helped first. I was on a serious time crunch as I was headed home with a one-way rental. I got back in line and was told that they'd be with me shortly. I've been a loyal customer since late 2014. I will not be renting from Enterprise again. Their staff was rude and unapologetic about their oversight. Lots of other companies to rent from who will go the extra mile.

Although there was a little line at the airport, for the most part it went rather quickly.  The person who walked us to the car was extremely nice.  I got a great rate for a larger SUV but the insurance was more than the rental fee.  I wish there was a way to get some of this back if you don't get in an accident!

We arrived late do to weather conditions and was given an upgrade to a dodge charger.  After driving we noticed that the car was a sports car with an extra LOUD exhaust. This might of been fine 40 year's ago. The auto did fine and handled the northern California mountains well. Overall , the service was great and personal were easy to work with and informed.  The only other note would be to put navagation into every rent a car. Heck, you do volume vehicle purchases. Otherwise Good job.
