We had had a very long day of canceled flights and delays. I had called three times to bump out our arrival time. It was really nice to have a smooth rental experience. Plenty of agents. No line. I was able to add my daughter as an additional driver for no charge. We were given our choice of 5 or 6 cars when we arrived at the pick up spot. We were able to get a brand new Nissan that my 6'4" son could be comfortable in. Easy drop off. No issues at all. Also got a great price. We have family in the area so we will definitely rent from Thrifty again.

I rented a Ford Fiesta for $23/day.  I brought the car back on time, but they said I brought it back 1/2 hour late and charged me an extra hour.  Not a total big deal...... but, they also charged me three times the amount per day for the rental!  $465 for 4 days for a FORD FIESTA!!!  I agreed to $166 and it turned out more than that anyway.  I was able to get the rental fee fixed and they credited the extra hour, but what a hassle!  Never never never again!  I am done with Thrifty.

Very good service, free upgrade and great price. The only downside is the return location is not marked in the lot at Sac airport
