Car wasn't exactly the cleanest, but it clearly looks like they did the best they could given the car looked like it had seen things from it's many prior owners. I actually liked driving the car, had no running issues. 

It's not in an attached rental to the airport, so remember to wait outside for the shuttle. Our driver was nice and helped carry our things in and out. The location is pretty rough looking, but everything was serviceable. Standard check in for online booking. I didn't feel unsafe even when I had to drop off at 4am for my early flight. Shuttle back was routine, was on time and had to issues. When I booked online I was quoted the price I was charged.

Car overall was nice and ready when we arrived. However, my husband and I filled up the rental car to full with gas before returning it and then noticed that they charged my credit card 30.38 for gas! When I inquired about the charge I had to prove with a receipt that the gas was purchased within 3 miles.  When I suggested they go look again at the tank to ensure it was full they refused. Wished this information was disclosed and discussed prior with us

Bad representatives. Booked my car online with the fuel plan to make my trip easy. On the day of pick up, the guy asked if I wanted the fuel plan. Told him I already got that while booking online. He then looks back at his screen, which he should have already seen that I got it, confirmed that I was correct. After a few days of returning the car, I noticed I was doubled charged with all their insurance, liability, and fuel plan which I clearly stated at that time I didn't need. Called them back and was told since I already signed they can't reimbursed me. Never booking with LAX Budget ever again.

Not bad. I would recommend again. HOWEVER, the complaint I have is that they DO NOT clean the car in between every rental. How do I know? My friend left her wallet (black, easily blended into the carpet) on the floor, plain as day, on the passenger's side. When she realized, she called first thing in the morning. They told that the car was already rented out but they didn't find anything during the "cleaning." HOWEVER, when the car arrived back into Budget's lot, they called to say they (miraculously) found her wallet. When she went to pick it up, everything of value had been stolen out of it. Just don't lie! You all should have admitted to your mistake. I may rent from here again, but I WON'T recommend this location to any of my business associates.

This place is super busy, and I had no idea. First, when you arrive, they give you a number, similar to a deli counter, and you have to wait outside until they call your number in order to talk to someone about getting your car. Do yourself a favor, do whatever you have to do to be a Fast Break member, and you can bypass that whole deli experience. It took me half an hour to wait to get the car. Next, once you talk to the person, they hand you your paperwork and you have to go find the car. Exiting was not that bad. When returning, you're again faced with a long line! Make sure you budget time to return the car, as well, as there were about 20 cars in line when I arrived. I waited about 20 minutes to get served, as well. The system was not terribly clear. They had the best price, but not by much, I might choose to rent from elsewhere so I can avoid this hassle of an experience again.
