This place may seem appealing because of the great low price and they do not require credit cards, but you get what you pay for with them. Not only is the lack of professionalism and care astonishing, they gave us a beat up old Nissan with a flat tire light and missing tire caps. We waited a very long time in the heat while they were grabbing a car for us, and as he drove it up to us he was clearing out clutter and trash while we stood there and watched. I took many pictures of every angle of the car because there was plenty of damage and the guy seemed awkward and intimidated that I was doing so. My boyfriend and I were visiting family in LA and we chose this place because we are under 25 and don't have that much money. It is our mistake not saving up for a better company. If you run into any problems with the car, do not expect a friendly and helpful phone call. They do not care about you.

I would give them a zero star rating if I could! The car I rented from them was an old Nissan Sentra, I realized the morning after I got it home, having picked it up after a late night flight that the car smelled distinctly like there was rotten tuna stuck somewhere in the vents.  I called and asked if I could change the car out as the smell was making me physically ill.  They were very accommodating and said that I could come by and drop it off. 

Unfortunately before I could do that I drove the car out to San Pedro and the transmission or some other key part of the car that allows it to change gears and accelerate went out.  When I called they told me they couldn't send anyone to come pick it up for the next four hours AT A MINIMUM and that I could not leave the car there with instructions on pick up and uber back to them at my own cost as they would not give me another car without returning the broken one. I drove back in what was THE MOST harrowing and upsetting experience of my life, as the car would not accelerate above 15 miles an hour and couldn't make it up any hills, so at times I had to hope the car had enough power to turn around and coast when it became clear a hill we were on was too much.  The person that I spoke to on the phone, like others experienced, literally SCREAMED at me over and over again.  Each person I spoke to was less helpful and more rude than the last. It was like nothing I've ever experienced before and hope to never experience again.  Carlos and Tony, you guys are the worst. That they are still in business is nothing short of a miracle.  Don't rent here. Don't let your friends rent here. If even a casual acquaintance mentions a desire to rent here STOP THEM.  This place is poorly staffed, poorly managed, and anyone that rents here should know there are other cheap options that will even rent to young renters, I've used them, they are legit, these people are not.

The pros:  
-Minivan was what we rented, and was what we got
-Drop off/return of the van was quick
-Price was very cheap

The cons:
-No shuttle to pick us up at airport  (even though they advertise a shuttle on their webpage).  Told us to "just take the hotel shuttle bus and walk behind the hotel to our building."
-No shuttle to take us back to airport- same advice to just take the hotel shuttle bus
-Waited 40 minutes when we picked up the van for the single employee to check out the person in front of us
-Minivan we were given was a 2012 and had dents all around the vehicle (which we were sure to point out on the initial inspection) and interior didn't appear to have been cleaned (ever?)
-Minivan proceeded to run very hot the entire week, to the point that we carried around a gallon of water to add to the radiator a few times

Overall you get what you pay for.  We wanted a cheap minivan for the week to haul around 6 people...that is exactly what we got.  The price difference between this place and others like Hertz might not matter enough to some.  I'm not sure if I would rent here again, to be honest.  We had a $250 deposit on our credit card- will be keeping an eagle eye out for it on my upcoming statement.

It's a tiny, family run business that is literally 1/3 the cost of the big guys, so don't expect all the pomp & frills. I've used them five times & they have always been nice. 
Helpful hints: 
- Just take the Hilton courtesy shuttle to the Hilton hotel & walk north to the backside of the large building to find the tiny office on the corner rather than calling to be picked up (which takes much longer & they will need to ask for a description of what you look like). 
- You may want to call to let them know you are coming; three of five times I've waited, locked outside, about 15-20 mintues for them to come back from picking someone up. 
- Book at least one month in advance & choose the "pay now" option; otherwise, the car you want may not be there. Some cars are newer & some are older & lack anything super fancy, but I haven't broken down.
- Have your car insurance available. This should be self explanatory.
Recap: small place, nothing fancy, really inexpensive. If you're high maintenance & like convenience, you may want to pass. If you like nice guys & low cost, this will work great for you.

This is an one person company. The owner is the only person that pick you up and drop you off. If you come during the high season you may encounter delay.Their rate is best in LAX area, and the owner is a nice guy. The car which I rented was old fashion and cheap but it worth the price.
