Worst experience ever. If i could give negative I would. I work for a big insurance company and on my personal claim they were awful. They were suppose to pick me up at 9 am. They were about 40 minutes late. When I called to make my reservation they kept changing the time on me.

My insurance company uses Hertz. This was the closes location to my home. They blew up my phone for 3 weeks prior to me getting my car into the repair shop. Finally got a date to take it in, called them to let them know. The first 2 phone calls I had with them they were told I needed them to meet me at the collision shop. Called to confirm the morning of to find out that arrangement wasn't made. Then finally worked out a ride to make it there and get the vehicle they were holding. I walked in said my name and before I could say another word. The guy sitting at the front desk says "Good for you". I am sorry but that was very unprofessional and rude. Now the vehicle they gave me someone smoked in and for some ungodly reason they felt they needed to spray some kind of chemical inside. The chemical smell was so bad it gave me a terrible head ache, my grand kids were in the back hacking and coughing. My grandson almost puked from coughing so hard. NO ONE at the 1 800 number handles complaints. They want you to take it back where you got it from. Finally I got to talk to a nice lady in emergency roadside assistants (Yeah I know)  who tried to have another vehicle delivered to me. The best she could do was offer a tow truck to come get the vehicle and me. So I could get a different one in the SUV class. Well 2 car seats and an adult don't fit in a tow truck. So I got stuck with it. Driving with all 4 windows down in Dec. on a rainy day and night. I don't believe I will ever deal with hertz again. First time and last.  This all has happened today, the day of pick up. I still have at least 6 more days to go.Before getting my car back. Worst rental car experience ever. Will update my review if anything more happens.
