I had a great experiencein October 2017. W rented the convertible for our 4 hour drive to Key West. Check out and in was a breeze. The man at the counter at check out was very helpful. I would only give it 4.5 starts if I could because the website was very basic and for the life of me I could not find the terms and conditions so I had to call. Other than that it was great. Our mini trip was awesome!

My husband and I had a terrible experience at Royal Rent-A-Car in Ft. Lauderdale.  Both agents on duty were extremely rude, not only to us, but to the other customers they served while we were at their desk.  They charged us far more than other companies have for an economy car, did not disclose any of the extra fees, and gave us a car that was noticeably stained and dirty.  If you can avoid it, please don't use this company. You'll save yourself a great deal of trouble.

We had a very bad experience with this company. The car received was dirty and stained.  Besides that,  nobody was available on the parking to guide us, and to check that everything was alright.  At the time of returning the car,  they didn't follow the usual protocol either... It was quite frustrating! To summarize, Royal Rent-a Car customer service is deplorable, and don't ask for the manager because he is even more rude and unprofessional than his staff!!! :(
