There is really no excuse for this level of disorganization. Every time that my Amazon order gets routed through USPS, I know that I will never see that package on time. The latest is, the post office sends a status to Amazon that says "Delivered. Ready for pick up." Meaning that the package arrived at the facility and you will get it...when they get to it. So the Amazon status is "delivered" but it could be days before you see it. And of course, the tracking trail goes dead... I have had all the other issues that other reviewers have mentioned - but I can live with long lines and disengaged workers. Really, they have one job which is on time and accurate delivery. I have taken the approach of complaining to directly to the retailers each time I face a delay. Hopefully Amazon has more leverage that this review!

They have meter maids working at this facility. Either that or they're such good friends that they have each other on speed dial. Even if the street is empty, do not park here until 1900. I get that those spots are for the employees, but for whatever reason they need every single spot empty to do nothing. I have direct view of the street so I know this. My father's served his tenure with the USPS and never would he stoop to the level of snitching to a meter maid. Pathetic.

This has to be the worst USPS postal service ever! Today I was expecting a package. I have the USPS app so I can always keep track of anything I order. I also get text updates sent to my phone as a backup just in case. At 12:44 pm today I got a notification informing me that my package has been delivered to my mailbox. When I got to check my mailbox there’s nothing there. When I called my local USPS the phone line was busy. I tried calling 4 more times within 30 minutes, still a busy signal. I then gave up trying to call and walk to the post office to see what was going on. I told the woman behind the counter what has accured and have her my tracking #. She went to her computer, came back to me and told me that the system said it was delivered in my mailbox. I told her again, my package wasn’t there. She then asks me am I the only one with a key to my mailbox. I told her I am the only one with a key to my mailbox. I also know the mail lady that delivers mail to my block and she hadn’t even reached my block yet. They woman then goes to tell me that her manager will be in touch with my tomorrow. Even though I was frustrated, I didn’t get disrespectful and stayed polite. I go back home and waited for my mail lady to come to ask her if she has my package and maybe they scanned the wrong update. When she came, she didn’t have my package. Now I was upset. My father told me this isn’t the first time this has happened and they sent one of his package 2 blocks down to the wrong address. My pops also knows someone who works at our local post office and called him to see if there was anything he could find out. Long story short, there’s 2 other buildings within my blocks radius that has the same building number as mine. Whoever was handling the mail on the block before mine put my mail in the wrong building. This is the second time they did this and my fathers friend was able to go get my package. Your workers aren’t reading and paying attention to what there doing. They’re rushing and not taking into consideration that people pay money for these packages. This was a gift for my girlfriend and if my father didn’t know this guy I would’ve never saw my package. All I think about is when the lady at the post office tried to insensate that it was my fault when it’s YOU GUYS. You don’t care about your customers, and something should be done about this. PLEASE BEWARE!!! P.S. I WILL BE COMING IN TOMORROW TO COMPLAIN AS WELL 😎

Horrible. If I could leave no stars I would. I spent an hour yesterday waiting in line to pick up a package that the delivery person LIED about attempting to deliver. Do pink slips even exist anymore? Not here. You're left to scramble to find a tracking number to print your own slip at the machine, to then wait in line for an hr to be told to come back the next day. I was an idiot to believe my package would be here- after spending ANOTHER HOUR in line today they still couldn't find my package. I ended up requesting a refund for the merchandise. These reviews do not lie. If you can stay away from here please do. For those in 10027 that don't have a choice, good luck.

Many lost packages, "missed" package deliveries, and super long lines. The turn over of postal workers will give you whiplash. There are some really great workers at the counters and really great delivery postal workers. It's just that the competent workers are too often, frequently replaced with a legion of poor replacements.
