I was there to mail a certified letter.  Certified form
was completed before I stood in line, and the
line went pass the 'island' where forms were kept.

 I was assisted clerk no 22. (Santa's hat) 
The two clerks were helping customers in a efficient way.
I was out of the post office in 7 minutes from the time

We have had a P.O. Box here for 17 years. A significant portion of the mail placed in our box is addressed to other boxes. The facility is dilapidated and when they fix something, it is a rig job. The only change we have noticed is the prices have gone up 400% since 2001. Only one or two workers in all these have good customer service skills, most will ignore you to your face. Most complaints about service, locked or broken boxes or incorrect delivery of mail is treated with prejudice and hostility.

Someone told me this post office was good to get in and out. Second time I’ve been during what should be low traffic times, both times had a line of a dozen and only one person covering. Should have gone Fedex. This is ridiculous.

I just left this location and my experience was horrible! The location is unorganized and very unprofessional looking, mailing supplies thrown about and not where they are aupposed to be and the worst of it all the staff was rude! I walked in and there were about 6 to 7 people ahead of me in line. Why such a long line? At this time there was only one person behind the desk and you could tell on her face she was not happy to be there. Finally another woman came from the back and began assisting customers, she too looked very unhappy to be there, very dry and unwelcoming! A man came in after me and as we waited in line he eventually moved out of line off to the side. Finally after waiting in line for about 10-15 min I was next up. Unfortunately the man that was behind me had other plans, he yelled out to the 2nd lady that came out and said he needed a money order. The lady chose to take him next instead of me who had be waiting in line long before he got there. Once she was done with him and I walked up to the counter, I asked the lady for a clear envelope to place my shipping label in. She gave it to me but It had slits in the front to where label could still fall out so i asked tor some tape she said we dont give out tape and I said well I normally go to the ups store and she said under her breath “well this isnt the ups store”. After I heard her say that I asked for her name and she wouldnt give me her first name only her last which she also mumbled but she said her supervisors name clear as day Ms.Rita! Regardless of whether or not you provide a piece of tape to your customers you should still be polite under ALL circumstances! Thats what customer service is. I would highly suggest to these ladies that if you do not like your job, you should find other employment that makes you more pleasant towards customers because my experience with the post office staff was a horrible one.

The workers are nice but it seems as if they are understaffed. The line is always long and only one person be working most of the time. The guy is very helpful. Do not go after 3:00 pm unless you are prepared to wait.
