Alamo Rent A Car

Every aspect of our car rental experience through Alamo was seemless! We were on a tight time schedule and using the online check in allowed us to skip the desk and go right to our car. An attendant was waiting for us when we got off the shuttle and directed us right to where we needed to go! Drop off was as easy too! Highly recommend Alamo at Detroit Airport and will be using them again :)

I always rent my cars from Alamo. The computer system was down when I arrived and they entered everthing manually. It wasn’t too long though & I was in my rental car & off to my destination. Returning the car was very quick. You’re out of the rental car & onto the shuttle bus in no time. The shuttle bus driver name Chris is excellent. He’s the best I’ve ever encountered. He was very courteous, friendly and he connected with his passengers. Alamo needs more shuttle drivers like Chris. He is the main reason I’m submitting this review, otherwise I would have just bypassed the review.

As good an experience as I can remember renting a car. Convenient shuttle service, quick service at the counter, free upgrade (awesome). My only complaint is not w Alamo specifically but with very poor signage to Rental Return. With all the construction it is easy to miss the turn off. Even on I-95 East it wasn’t clear what exit to return rentals. Once I found it, Return was quick. Thanks again Alamo for the upgrade. I’ll rent again.

Great services at the counter as always. seemed a nice new car (from N...), but it leaked coolant to the passenger compartment (probably via heater coolant exchanger). Had to drive with windows opened in 30-40 degrees.

Picking up and dropping off the car was easier than I have ever experienced with another rental company. I highly recommend Alamo and will use them for all of my future rentals. The car was new and clean and had no maintenance issues.
