Do not rent from Avis. Make sure you scour all paperwork and costs BEFORE you leave the front desk. They triple charged me for our car rental. When I called customer service multiple times, 3 different representatives told me that amount would be refunded upon return of the car. The customer service dept I was told to call is only available on business days. The money was never refunded and when I called again they said to wait a few more days. Still no return of the money. I initiated a dispute through my bank to try to get the money back. I still was unable to get my money back from Avis and was out $900 for less than a week rental on a normal car. I had paid $300 in advance and they charged me $600 more after I left with the car. Truly HORRIBLE customer service.
