I love leasing from Enterprise, and the CLT location is well done: it's so nice to walk out of the terminal and be at the Enterprise desk then at one's vehicle. It takes just a few minutes. There are always a sufficient number of associates to get one set up right away, and they are well-mannered, friendly, and helpful. Returning the vehicle is also easy. I'll add that we were about 15 minutes late returning the vehicle, but were NOT charged for an extra hour when we explained that we had sat in traffic for at least a half hour cumulatively because of not just one, but two accidents on the road. Appreciate it--and "good business!"

I rented a car here and I was assigned to a vehicle. I sat inside and was not comfortable (I'm 6'5), so I asked if I could switch cars. There was no problem switching cars. Problem is I left my coat in the car, I realized this about 1 hour after I left the premises. I tried to call as they were open until 11:00pm but no answer (I called about 10 times). I finally called my daughter and she emailed them and told them. I decided to drive back and hopefully catch the vehicle before it was rented out. I pull into the Airport and a employee from Enterprise calls me. They told me that the vehicle was rented out. I decided to go to the front desk and talk to them. I asked if there was anyway to get a hold of the driver and they told me he had a international phone number? I said what about email? They didn't answer me...they just said we will have to wait until the car returns in 6 days! Wow I was shocked as they needed all my info when I rented the car and I'm sure they needed the same info when this person rented their car. I waited the 6 days and also emailed a couple of times to remind them about the coat. I called them on the day of the return and they told me nothing was in the car...I was not very impressed with the way this was handled as I feel that my coat should have been recovered. This coat (Toronto Raptors) was special to me as my children bought it for me for Christmas and now its gone. I had to go purchase another coat in Charlotte NC and then I purchased the same coat when I got home. I just feel that there was no sense of urgency on the part of some of the staff that works at site. As a Platinum Tier member I would have hoped that this would have been dealt a little more professional...

I had a great experience with this Enterprise car rental location  in renting a car and being provided with that very quickly; however was upgraded from a compact car to full-size car unbeknownst to me and charged for it. Had to work with the service representative to get a refund.  I was not asked if I wanted an upgrade. I had reserved a compact car and was checked in as a compact car so I had no reason to believe that the car I was being provided would have an extra charge to it.  They took care of me very well though and all was fixed that day.

I needed a car for a one-way rental on short notice. Enterprise at the Charlotte airport accommodated and even gave me an SUV rental for the price of the compact car since their website showed an available compact, but they didn't actually have any. Great customer service and quick rental.

Over rated company.
Conversome process - waiting to pick up and waiting during drop off. Cheap vehicles that can be unsafe on I-77 for frequent travelers like me.
Zero respect for seniority.  Employees are well trained robots that can’t identify opportunity areas. Zero listening skills.
