My wife rented a car on January 4th and when she arrived for pick up she was asked to produce proof of insurance.  She produced updated and valid documents, but the salesperson called her insurance agent right in front of her for further verification that humiliated my wife.  Further, when asked where she intended to drive the vehicle, which she said it was Atlanta, GA - the General Manager refused to give her the car she wanted and "up-sold" her a SUV, all the while making it sound she would be saving money and the SUV would be "safer" based on the destination. (does this imply that you rent cars that are unsafe?)  Despite the "discount" he gave her for the larger vehicle this tactic doubled her personal budget for the rental.  My wife has been a loyal and regular customer with this location for the past year and she walked away today feeling as though she was taken advantage of...  this is unacceptable.  We're taking our business elsewhere in the future.

The Enterprise folks in Hendersonville NC were great! They picked me up at my Air BnB, about 6 miles from their lot. When upon getting into  my reserved economy car and finding it has been used by a smoker 👎🏻 I was immediately assigned a Nissan sedan at no additional cost. No problem. Great little car. I dropped the car off at the Enterprise lot in Cary, NC 10 days  later at 7 am. Not open yet, but as instructed I deposited the keys in a lock box. All in all a good experience with one minor hitch. The switches for cruise control did not work. Not a big deal for me as I seldom use cruise control.

The cost is very inexpensive, the car was ready when I got there, they even did a free upgrade, the car I got was great, very comfortable and clean. The agent was friendly.  The only small complaint I have is they charged me for 2 gallons of gas and I made sure it was at the same level as when I picked it up... but that's ok since it was a reasonable cost to begin with, that didn't matter much.

They only have crossovers, suvs, and trucks.  So if you need a full size car go elsewhere.  Overall it was a good experience.

First time using Enterprise. Rented a Cargo Van for two days to move a friend. Experience was perfect - everything clean, timely, exactly as advertised. Can't imagine it any better - highly recommend.
