Avoid Budget.  Rent from a reputable rental facility like U-Haul.

Budget wasted half my day.  I reserved the truck for 10 o'clock but wasn't ready until 12.  

Thereafter once the truck was ready the customer service reps tried to strong arm me into purchasing their insurance policy for a one-day one-way rental.  Insurance cost alone was about half of the rental cost not worth it.

Aggravated I walked away with no truck

This location has an extremely helpful, courteous and professional staff.  They efficiently move you through the process of getting into your vehicle and onto your way.  Much friendlier and helpful than at SeaTac.

Even if there are challenges with your rental, like not having the car you originally wanted, they are able to work around the issues and competently resolve them.

I chose Budget as I was able to rent a Prius for three weeks for a very good rate due to an employees discount my company offers. I chose the Kent location as it was $500.00 less to rent from there than it would have been had I rented from the airport. ( I never realized how much the extra airport taxes and service fees could be, especially on a long rental.)
I made my reservation online and the car was waiting for me when I arrived to pick it up.  It took a very short period of time to go sign off the paperwork and be off in my rental car.  It was just as easy to return the car.  I was very satisfied and would recommend renting from this facility without hesitation.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldn't give it 0!  We have used this rental location for the past 20 years, but no longer!  We recently rented a car for a month after flying in from overseas.  I rented the car with our Platinum VISA, which of course covers us on insurance.  When asked by the guy behind the counter if I wanted insurance, I declined, stating that I was covered by my credit card.  I signed the contract, not paying too close attention (to my later dismay), and the guy stapled it closed inside the cover they give you.  After we returned home we got an added bill on our credit card, and it was a big one!  It turns out that the guy behind the counter had marked the "loss damage waiver" insurance as accepted on our contract, which is of course the most expensive.  We are currently working with VISA to try to get the money back.

I wouldn't be so mad if we had not been lied to at the Avis/Budget counter at the SeaTac airport just the year before!
