I am very disappointed with how Advantage takes care of their customers. We had a reservation for Thursday September 14 at 11pm. we had to wait over 2 1/2 hours in a stand up line, it was already September 15th when we got our car. We were on time, paid for a car that we didn't receive on time. Shame on your company for only having a couple workers to work as well. You know how many reservations and what time they are scheduled for pick up. People were turned away as they were running out of cars. Overall, we didn't get our car for when we made reservations for, we had to wait over 2 1/2 hours to receive our car. There were older people in line that had to keep switching with another person in their party to keep their place in the queue. The A/C wasn't working in that building as well. It was a hot, conga line in there. Your company should have a grab a ticket and wait to be called up system (I should be paid for giving you such great advice). That way people could have wandered about and not stand in a ridiculous line forever whilst two people are serving everyone. If you had kiosks, people could have done it themselves checking in. The keys are already in the car, and not much information had to be given. I was traveling with my 1 1/2 year old daughter and it was brutal trying to take care of a little one and wait forever to get our car for that long of a wait and that time in the morning. We weren't offered an upgrade (you were overbooked and running out of cars). No compensation back for the hours we waited for getting our car that we already paid for. Shame on your company for treating people this way and not valuing their time and money. I heard numerous times whilst in line, we are giving no refunds. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend you to anyone. Also, I have tried sending this over three times to you on your website and keep getting an error message, please try again later. Very convenient of you, so you don't hear how horrible you are doing.

We flew into LAX on a Saturday morning. We had a short wait for the shuttle, which was easily marked and visible and were dropped off promptly at the rental facility. The counter-person who helped us, Pedro, was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was also able to offer us an upgrade. His service was excellent. I had read so many bad reviews that I was very worried it wouldn't go well, but not only was the service top-notch, but there was no wait. We went right up to the counter, checked in, got our car, drove it off the lot, all in record time. It was the same when we returned our car on a Saturday morning two weeks later. Could not have been easier or more efficiently done. So happy to report that we had such a great experience. Shuttle drivers were also very helpful and friendly.

I was disappointed this company. When I got the car, the car had key issues. the car doors could not be locked using the key. I claimed to change the car. They accepted to change the car and they gave me bigger car with same price. But, the new car was really damaged, so many scratches and cracked tail lamp. Also, when I return the car, they try to charge additional price for the new car, and they explained that you used upgraded car, and the additional price was appropriate. I complained for the additional price. When I got the new car, the reception mentioned that there was no additional cost and same price. After complaining, they accepted and withdrew the additional price. My story didn't end. Three weeks later, insurance company contacted me about the car rented. The insurance company asked me about the car damage which I rented. I couldn't get what happened. They blamed me for all of damages on the car. If I didn't purchase damage waived plan, they may charge me all costs of repairing the car... Actually, rent-a-car price is lower than other companies. If you use this company for your rent-a-car, I strongly recommend take photo of the car and record all of conversations between reception and you.

I booked through Hotwire so I was a little worried when I saw the reviews after, but my experience was actually pretty smooth. I did fly into LAX on a Tuesday morning so it wasn't very busy. The shuttle came pretty quickly and the driver was friendly. The location was a few minutes away but was clean and I had no wait to get a car. I needed an upgrade to a van and the new price was kind of expensive, but I kind of expected it since I had a prepaid non-refundable reservation (which I wouldn't do again). The agent at the counter was friendly. The car I received was a little dirty on the outside and inside and did smell like cigarette smoke, and I made sure to note any damage prior to leaving. The location is right by the 405 so that was convenient. Checking the car back in was super quick and the shuttle was waiting to take us right back to the airport. The driver on the return trip was awesome! (I wish I had caught her name). My deposit was removed from my card in a couple of days.

Would have been a five but when the first agent put her hand up telling me to stop after keeping the customer ahead of me waiting while she was on her cell phone. This is after a 6 hour flight. Thank goodness another agent Pedro helped me . He was so efficient courteous and professional. I wish I had the name of the black girl with a bun so I could report her .What she did was so disrespectful and rude not to mention she is supposed to be representing your company This happened at Lax on Sat 10/28 I'm the pm
