The stand was closed when I attempted to pick up the rental I had reserved in advanced. Only after standing in front of the closed stand did the lady say something... Still not open I gathered stand.

She was extremely rude and did not have the car I had reserved. She refused to help find me another car and told me to go call the airport and there was nothing she could do.

Then she closed her stand up again.

This was all during business hours at 1:30pm.

Talked to corporate Hertz and the area manager. Who was great! The convention center location ended up helping me and they were a pleasure! 

The lady working at this location should not work here it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced before!!

If there was a 0 they would get it. Paid deposit for specific vehicle. Set up reservations months in advance. Once we arrived they had nothing that they had promised. Didn't have a vehicle close to what we needed available. Made no effort to help. Even tried to up charge for a different vehicle that was still inadequate. No help. Do not go here if you plan on renting a car when you arrive here. don't let Hertz ruin your trip, just learn from us and go somewhere else. Just a case of a big company that thinks they will have enough customers whether they are good or bad so don't make the mistake of giving them your buisness. Try budget they are right down the street and really nice

ALWAYS understaffed; and all you get is a very young, inexperienced, slow individual that basically requires their Supervisor every other minute. (Think pubescent, acne-faced screechy-voiced kid on The Simpsons)
Then, to top it all off, you have to retrieve your own car via a maze, up and down elevators, stairs, and an endless number of  hot, low-ceilinged parking garage levels.
It's conveniently located between I-5 N & & entrances, but by the time you make it out of the garage, you've no idea where you are at. 😫

Horrible experience so far!! I paid 60 for my reservation, got there and the computers were down, so they told me they needed to write down my credit card info and that they would shred it after. Got to the car and it wasn't even cleaned! Trash inside, napkins, and coffee and a coke bottle. I also realized after I was driving that they didn't even CHECK the car, all they knew was where the gas meter was at for the return. They didn't even make sure the last person hadn't damaged the car! The guy there didn't do the right paperwork! & he was the one training someone else. Now, today I looked at my bank account and they have charged me almost 350$! I returned the car with the right amount of gas, no damages, and only 12 hours after I picked up the car. I couldn't call today because they were closed but I am extremely upset. Don't rent from this location. Also, the other person is right, it's on the 8th floor and you get dizzy going up such a tight space for so long. Horrible experience so far. I hope they fix it when I call tomorrow.

Worst experience with a car rental... we had made reservations in advance and they had given our car away to a bunch of toursists the night before... avoid this place. I'd rate them a 0 if I could
