Story

The United States Post Office Inwood Station is a historic post office building located at 90 Vermilyea Avenue at the corner of West 204th Street in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It was built between 1935 and 1937, and designed by consulting architect Carroll H. Pratt (1874-1958) for the Office of the Supervising Architect of the United States Department of the Treasury. It is a one-story brick building in the Colonial Revival style, with a three-bay-wide projecting entrance pavilion. It features a limestone cornice and frieze topped by a brick parapet.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

If I could give this place 0 starts, I will!! The customer service sucks, always understaffed!! Long lines, like over an hour to pick up a package. The employees are mostly disgusting and rude, specially one lady!!! She speaks to people and elderly like they are animals. The post office never has information, packages notice are never left at my place (not sure why, everyone seems to have the same problem) and post office does nothing to help!!!! They should shut this place down or change the whole damn staff. The only decent person there is the Asian man and he’s only for outgoing not picking up packages!!! Ughhh

What’s the point.. THEY Deserves 0 stars specially when I work from home, I’m always home and specially when I am waiting on packages but these people love telling stories that they even tried delivering and leaving “notes” when they really didn’t. Packages whereabouts unknown. UPS, FedEx and private delivery services always arrives but USPS is like in la-la land or something.

Has to be worst post office in the area if not the city...I make sure I’m home to receive my package today, they buzz, I talk to them, buzz them in and STILL I got a “missed delivery” slip in my mailbox, like jfc! The actual branch is a mess too, just disorganized, and the tellers are so unhelpful. The time before last I went and the tellers were literally screaming at each other for a good 5 min, something about someone being on break. If I could give 0 stars I would. Edit: You know what actually WAS delivered today though? My UPS package.

Avoid this place like the plague. Lines are ridiculously long, even on weekdays. Never ever want to come here again. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Manager just doesn’t give a hoot about anything.

Its horrible, im 22 and the people working there are the same nasty, not helpful, disrespectful f**ktards that have been there since I was 2. They are rude and dont care about your satisfaction. They dont have the intent to help and by God ARE THEY LAZY its really despicable. And i dont know if i can blame the post office for this one but every fu**ing time i need a package delivered they always "attempt" but never get to deliver. In my house there is someone 24/7 all day every day literally so there is now way you attempt and cant deliver. They are a bunch of lazy retards and if it were on me id re-staff the whole place.
