Wow...if you compare these guys to the National location the rating should be 100 stars. Night and day difference. I have a basic preferred Status here but top tier at National. When I got to the preferred counter I asked for a vehicle that can carry a 6 footer in the back seat. They immediately upgraded me to a vehicle that will more than accomplish that goal. Not to mention the time at the desk took less than 3 minutes. Service is usually pretty stellar here. The management staff is also more knowledgeable and/or dedicated to their customers than most Avis locations. I had a year long issue on my profile I have been trying to get resolved. Been to many a locations who all told me to call the preferred desk. Which when I did they told me to contact my corporate office or sent me an auto responder email. I have no idea what Tracy, the manager here, did but the issue was solved. Thank you, Tracy and your outstanding team for solving the issue no one could solve, for catering to your customers needs and providing stellar service. I travel 100% for work and it can be hectic and stressful. Working with your team is very refreshing.

Expensive, and the car needed repairs while on the road. The company did not reimburse the cost of repairs, or even offer thanks or apologies...they seemed pretty apathetic towards the customer.  Disappointed for sure.

I'm at Avis at the Utah airport. There is a very long line & only 2 people working at the desk helping people get their Avis cars. Wouldn't you know it's the holiday season & extra people are traveling - and plan to have more people working so that your customers don't have to wait in line for over an hour? I'll never use Avis again. All the other car rental places don't have the long lines - only Avis because they are understaffed. I have a photo to post but don't see where I can upload it with my review.

We rented a Ford Escape or similar for most of December as part of the Christmas break. The welcome and pick-up service was well in keeping with Avis's premium reputation, in particular for preferred and above customers:
+ very courteous and professional staff
+ no waiting time for pick-up (Sunday afternoon)
+ upgrade to a Jeep Grand Cherokee
+ timely return (less than 5mn during holiday rush)

Points to improve:
- one tire had a small leakage which meant refilling the air pressure weekly, problematic enough to be annoying, but not enough to bother calling Avis Assistance. Upon drop-off staff assured to get the tires checked
- no navigation system which is surprising for this class of car

I rented a car here and dropped it off next day in Phoenix AZ, with the full tank. My car rental contract was $174 but Avis charged me $1,284. They said I used the car for a week and did`t fill the tank, even if that was true this don't justify this ABUSIVE PRICE. I contacted Customer Service but they are refusing to refund me. The worst experience!
