Price was excellent. KEVIN made checking car in/ out very easy! Was very pleased with the service. They told me their policy about tolls ($15 per toll) so I made sure to stay clear of the Veterans Expressway (589). Was able to bring car back empty for another $32.10 so I didn’t have to stop and fill the car up before returning. Thanks Fox Rent A Car For all your help!

THE WORST EVER! I have rented cars for many years and this was by far the worst experience. The first car i rented had leaking tires and i needed to put air in two mornings in a row. I returned it for another! The tires were very over inflated (50-58lbs pressure)as the dash stated (very dangerous) so i had them adjust them before i left. Both cars though below 15,000 miles keep beeping Service Needed, they were not concerned. Same issue every 2 days now the new tires needed air! I left my handicap parking pass in the car by accident, realizing this at the airport and i have been trying for a month to get it returned. No one will return my calls, lost & found messages are full. emails, waiting on hold forever after i finally get a human being (3.5 weeks) Mind you my children in the state of Florida near Tampa have as well been trying to get this taken care of for me as well. 3 of us all doing the same, emails, reports, calls - nothing. Promises today after a long to call me back while they look to see if it is still there! Even the young man i spoke to in corporate in CALIFORNIA would not give me a direct line to speak with those holding this at the Tampa office. But will call me back when they call him back. My daughter went to them personally - they do not any longer have it!! SO NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY- they care not for you or their cars!

I would never rent a car from this place! Had reservations for a rental car and upon arriving at the lot found out that they wanted to add $6.99 per day for tolls and another $15.99 per day for Insurance. Then because we we're using a debit card for our purchase they wanted to downgrade our vehicle to a lesser vehicle for the same amount of money plus they were going to put an additional $400.00 hold on our card when our rental for 4 days was only supposed to be a little over $400.00. The lady at the desk was less than helpful and seemed as if she had been through this before. She could care less if we were pleased customers or not. Went back to the airport and had an event free rental from Hertz. Oh and by the way, the lady at Fox said they had no cars at the airport so we wouldn't be renting one there either. She was wrong. It's Hertz all the way for me from now on.

On the advice of another reviewer, I prepaid my reservation with a credit card. I filled out all the paperwork ahead of time so that it would speed up the process of picking up the car. My flight was delayed by 10 hours and there was no direct phone number to call the location so I didn’t know what to expect. When my flight arrived at the ungodly hour of 2:45 am, we went straight to the shuttle pickup where Fox was waiting for us. They had been tracking our flight all day and made sure they didn’t abandon us. When we arrived at the building, Isis had the car and paperwork ready so that with a quick walkaround, we were on our way. She asked about insurance and advised about the charges from unpaid tolls, but wasn’t pushy about it. They even offered us a free upgrade. Returning the car took 5 minutes tops. While riding the shuttle back to the airport, I received confirmation via email of no additional charges and a credit back for the deposit. The deposit appeared on my credit card less than 48 hours later. I gotta say, Fox in Tampa gave me probably the best customer service I’ve ever received from a rental company. The cars are a bit older but the rates were inexpensive. I’m very satisfied with my rental experience. Tip: I was told by desk staff that rentals that are booked on their website get first priority over rentals booked on third party sites like Expedia. If someone doesn’t return a car on time and they have two people waiting for the last car, they give priority to the person who booked it directly with Fox. Prepaid rentals are guaranteed for 12 hours after arranged pickup time so prepay if you are worried no cars will be available.

1. Don't believe their 7 dollars a day car. With all taxes and insurances it will be the price of any other company, but with the worse service possible 2. I strongly recommend not to make a prepaid reservations online, that you won't be able to cancel, as the guy's at the counter will make EVERYTHING to make you another reservation with the higher rate, for sure. 3. They are SLOW. literally, be prepared to spent at least 1 hour in line With all above, save you time and money for someone more reputable
