I am a long time National loyal customer.  Was thrilled to hear they had moved to downtown Jersey City. 

Very convenient location.  Love the new office.
They still do not have come-pick-go system.  You have to talk to the agent which sucks..

At most other National, I get free upgrades.  I dont have to haggle much.  But at Jersey City National, if you want to rent a compact size, they will try to get you the smallest cat possible.  Why??    Haggling didn't work.   They need a new agent at the location.

With BJ coupon on the web, you can rent 3 days for 100 bucks.

Great rates, great cars, smooth checkin and out. To the review who said he had trouble returning his car, you weren't listening. They literally say "remember the spot number you leave, you'll return it right there." Staff were great, too. 5/5, will be back.

The JC National office has a decent selection of cars for an off airport location. The staff is courteous as well. Plus National has a great rewards program!

Easiest / quickest check-in process for my weekend rental in jersey city. No hassles no frills no pushing the extras. extremely nice employees and free upgrade? Yes please!

Newer location (much better office), but your car is going to be on the top floors of the garage. A little silly, but what can you do. A choice alternative to the much higher priced (and non-coupon accepting) Manhattan branches. As an alternative, the downtown Brooklyn location also has better-than-manhattan prices.
