My experience at BMW of Annapolis started out to be a bit different than what I was used to receiving at a BMW Service Center. For example, when I drive up to the Service Center Car Port, I wasn’t immediately greeted by someone outside who does a quick service review on the spot & then takes you inside to be logged into the system, as well as asks if you need a loaner car or prefer to wait. Instead, I lined my car up with the others that were there & went inside to wait in line to be seen by an advisor. I recall another Service Advisor that asked another person standing in line if he could get the keys to move her vehicle, so he could take the vehicle of the person he was assisting in for service. So the intake process didn’t seem to work as smoothly than what I was accustomed. When I finally got to speak with a Service Advisor about my vehicle, he immediately noted that no loaners were available for walk-ins. This was a bit surprising considering that I arrived to the shop 2 minutes after opening. But the Advisor informed me that the loaners were only available to those who had an appointment. Unfortunately, I had an emergency situation that couldn’t wait for me to schedule an appointment. So, I had to wait a few hours for them to fit me into their schedule for the day. Nevertheless I was very pleased with the professionalism & courtesy of my Advisor, who encouraged me to have a little patience and give them some time to access the situation with my vehicle. Again, this was new to me because I never had to wait, during the 3 years I became a first-time BMW Owner. But, considering their shop rules & my urgent circumstances, I decided to wait patiently. The shop was well supplied with snacks & drinks for those who were waiting, but I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have enough outlets available for customers to charge their smartphones, tablets or laptops. I only saw 1 outlet that a customer was already using. Lucky for me, I was able to find another outlet in the Kids room! Fortunately, during my 3 hour wait, there were no kids in the shop, so I was able to have my own private room. Nevertheless, I was able to take care of some personal things during my wait, so the 3 hours seemed to past quickly. Once I received the analysis of my mechanical problem, the Advisor showed great concern, due to extent of the faults noted, and asked me to take some time to read over the analysis & when I was ready to come see him. Even though I was not prepared to handle the extent of analysis provided, I was able to get 2 recalls repaired that were noted on the review as well. So, even though the intake process didn’t run as smooth than what I was used to, no loaners were available & there were not enough charging outlets available for customers who were waiting, my overall experience from a customer service standpoint was great. I would return to this shop for other services when needed, but hopefully my need will allow me to schedule the service in advance, so I could have a loaner.

Erik the service manager was great! However my service person was not so much. My check engine light came on the day after I picked up the car. The service tech said to bring it back in to see if it was related to the original repair. Why wouldn't it be? That light was not on prior to the work. She also tried to charge me for a diagnostic and water test separately ($500+) when it should have been part of claim. I had to call my insurance adjuster back to make sure she was correct. He assured me that all I had to pay was my deductible upon picking up my car. He had to call her to let her know that. I am also missing the tow cover when I about it, she asked me if I was sure it was there before. Hello there's a hole in my fender I think I would have noticed that before. I am dreading having to take my car back there now.

My experience at mini Annapolis was definitely a positive one. Marcus Gray displayed the highest degree of knowledge, professionalism, and patience throughout the process. I am beyond satisfied with my new Mini Countryman. In fact, this is the first time in my life, and I am 60 years old, and have purchased many cars... that I am staying with the same car and model. In other words, I used to be the kind of driver who enjoyed experiencing a new car models every few years. But thanks to the staff at Mini of Annapolis, I have changed my car buying pattern. I don't think I have ever been this happy when I drove off the lot. My sincere compliments to the entire staff at Mini of Annapolis. This was definitely not a one-and-done negotiation. I feel as though a genuine relationship was established I must also add how thoroughly pleased I am with the service department. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional in every way. The explanation of what is being done to my car and why always leaves me with a much better feeling about my car... I couldn't ask for more than that

I have used mini of annapolis for years now for my auto maintenance and I am never disappointed. The service rep Robert is always the best. Professional and very accommodating. The technicians do a great job too...as I have never had to take my car back after being repaired. One word...Superb!!
